I read that tallow can help with eczema/severe dry skin problems, so I ordered this product and tried it. The dry, itchy patches on my legs where healed in 2-3 days and my hands are greatly improved. Now, I put a little bit in a glass dish, place it in a warm toaster oven, and as soon as I step out of the shower/bath I rub in the liquified tallow and it really helps control the eczema symptoms. Sometimes, the old remedies are the best remedies!

It was impossible to get out of the jar, it was so hard it would come out in flakes. Had to microwave it.

this product is hard to find.I found a web site that had a multitude to choose from.I will be ordering more..if you have skin problems,especially dry cracked hand and feet.wait till you try this,its is the "sheep's fat"

I am still waiting to try some mutton tallow. I received my items, but they are rancid: TWO pots of mutton tallow! Stinks like paint, similar to how flaxseeds smell when they are rancid. Super disappointed. I was going to return them, but as I am in the UK, it will cost a fair amount for postage, and it would appear that I may not be refunded my shipping costs. I'm so disappointed and annoyed! Mutton tallow is supposed to be odourless and tasteless, and white in colour. These appear white, but the smell is pretty awful.

I bought about 20 of these and shipped them home to Ky where my brother and aunt made a 100 year old family recipe for a drawing salve..

Awesome natural ingredient. I melt this down and mix with olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, shea butter and avocado oil. Together it helps to calm my dry skin...I just wish it was a larger size..I would like to use it more as a main ingredient, but at this size I can only use it as a complimentary ingredient to my mix.
