Great Router.
I've used this on both wood and metal and it hasn't had an issue with either. It's not too heavy and easily maneuverable when making my cuts. The plastic deck lets you see down to the point on contact when you're working which is nice compared to the solid decks. Overall I'm very happy with the quality and how this router has held up to constant use.

This is a fine little trimmer/router. It's compact and fairly quiet. I've been using it to mortise some door hinges. It's much easier to handle than my full-size router. It has enough power to drive a 3/4" mortising bit without any difficulty.I like the clear plastic base; it gives a decent view of the work area. There's a built-in LED light, but it's too dim to be much help.I've seen reviews complaining that the height lock doesn't stay snug. Mine is just fine. If yours is loose, read the instructions! The instructions clearly describe how to adjust the locking collar.On the whole, it's a bit better than I expected for the price. I would definitely buy it again.

Makes the Job Easy
Bought this to do a whole bunch of doors in our new house. Made installing 8 slabs very easy if you are mechanically inclined, got through all 8 in a day doing hinges and latch holes. When I don't feel like spending a lot on high-end stuff Porter Cable is my next best thing, they make some solid tools that are budget friendly.
