It’s a fun game but
The game is well made, but quite hard. I’m an adult and I can’t get past some levels.(because I don’t know the technic; you just gotta be clever lol) Children can definitely play the game. I let my cousin who’s 6 give it a go and she really enjoyed it a lot. Worry not there is help on YouTube. Finding other “friends” is well rewarding. This is a good game to the collection.

“Even mummy will play this one with me Daddy”
I’m of the Sega era. I loved Sonic, Streets of Rage and James pond but when I was 15 I left the games behind… until my son got a switch. Even then I avoided it for a couple of months until this game along for his 8th birthday. I will happily play this with my son for a good half an hour until I’ve got dinner to put on or some other mum job. If you get stuck you can join together so effectively it’s one player. He’s much better at it than I am so it’s a regular occurrence. It’s a really good game and encourages team work and problem solving. We’ve played quite a few levels and there’s no violence. I certainly think girls would like it too as you can change the colours of the characters to pinks and purples. Well that’s what I choose anyway!

Charming Little Game - Completely Destresses Me During COVID 19 Lockdown
First of all, Nintendo's site has the dowloadable game on special for £6.24 (Sorry Amazon - I still love you). As others have said, this game fits so well as a handheld console game. There's something about moving the controllers, that makes you feel that you are actually helping the unlikely duo follow their guiding light. The movements (wall jumps, swinging and jump are pure Mario64). One of the great things is it seems (at my early stage) to sustain damage if you fall. Even the whispering movements of 'Tinkerbell' the guiding light set this game out as a pure joy.

So much better than expected
Bought this for my daughter at Christmas, as sometimes it’s nice to try a quirky little known game. Wow…. It’s a beautiful and incredibly fun game that is the best two player on the Switch I’ve experienced. A perfect one for kids to share with their adults and play to each other’s skills. Loved it and we were both quite emotional at the end (which came all too soon!) worth the money and very rewarding!
