What a beautiful statue. Loved it so much I bought one for my friend.

So far he's held up through storms and temperatures from 90 degrees down to 7 degrees. He's still beautiful and strong. He hasn't been blown over by wind. He is perfect. He comes well packaged and quickly.

I had looked for a St. Francis statue and this is the model I really liked.It did arrive broken on the head. For a $230.00 investment< I'm not comfortable "patching it up."I contacted Alpine immediately and provided images of the broken item. Alpine was great and it took about7 days for the new item to arrived and it was in perfect condition. I really like the statue in my large yard.I placed it in the far back by the row of evergreens and I can see it from our patio. I will place a solar light to shine on at night.

I bought this for my husband, we recently lost our dog. The package was extremely torn up, the styrfoam was crushed and scattered around our yard (because the box was torn up). The top of the statue is cracked it appears to be along the seam that would be there. I went to get a refund only to find I have to ship it back to them. I don't have a box, I don't have packing, and I'm not paying for shipping on something that weighs 35 pounds. So it sits on our front porch so it will stay out of the weather so it doesn't get anymore damage. I am embarrassed by the statue, but hell or high water it will be displayed because of the cost, and because it is supposed to be somewhat therapeutic and healing for my husband.

This is a great addition to my shade hasta garden. Statue is perfect size and lightweight but heavy enough to withstand weather. Exactly as described. Worth the money.

This is a beautiful statue of St. Francis; a generous size, very detailed and with a soulful, expressive face to greet all of God's creatures in my garden. I could not love it more. He arrived well packaged and in good order. Thank you....

I purchased this statue because it was tall and I thought it would be great for my garden. The statue arrived broke. The bottom is in several pieces. It is able to stand on its own for now but I don't know how long it will last on a broken foundation.UPDATE. I've had this statue for a few weeks now. I enjoy looking at it every day. I was able to dig a hole in my rose garden so it would compensate for the damaged areas of the statue. It is a beautiful statue. I increased the stars from 2 to 4. There is no way that I can give 5 stars because it did arrive damaged. The item was sold at a substantial discount so I assume that there are many more unsatisfied customers.

The statue is well made for the size and price. (45" tall) It has a rough unfinished look that is intentional. If you want it to look more smooth and finished you will have to smooth the rough parts out with bondo and paint. I'm doing that and it is turning out pretty cool. A painted finished statue like this would retail $300 to 500 so if you are an arts-n-crafts kind of person this can be turned into life like art.The rough unfinished look is also very nice. It just depends on your taste or how you want it in your yard.The first one came damaged with poor St Francis's head bashed in no doubt from shipping. They are packed very carefully and the box arrived all beat to heck externally. Customer service promptly sent a new one. I give both the company and their customer along with my St Francis statue 5 stars.
