Worked fine
When package arrived it looked like the inner package had been opened. The lid on the plastic storage box was broken and there was no battery. Under normal circumstances I would have returned the callipers- however I needed them for a job and since the callipers themselves worked fine have decided to keep them. If they were returned or reconditioned goods this should have been made plain in the advertising.

we thought it wasn't good enough as the vice/jaws were not solid and moved as if it wasn't tight enough, we returned the item

Excellent at the offer price.
I bought this when it was on offer. It is consistent when moved to zero and works well.My only criticism is the size of the plastic case it is housed in, which seems unnecessarily large.Good value for money.
