It's supposed to click into place, but it really doesn't. It falls off every time I put the phone in my pocket, hold it the wrong way, or look at it sideways. It's only a matter of time before it's broken or lost. And without the top, there's nothing to hold the phone in the case.Beyond that, it's actually pretty great. Which isn't quite "Besides that Mrs. Lincoln, how'd you like the play?" bad, but it's definitely not a selling point.I get around 2 charges out of it, which is more than I expected. The charge-through system's a little odd, since it basically trickle-charges both the phone and case simultaneously when plugged in to the wall -- I'd prefer it if it would charge the phone, then the case -- but since you can just turn the case back on once you unplug, it's really not a big deal.When it's charging your phone, the LEDs on the back of the phone light up, and they're actually pretty bright. It's a bit of a bother when you're trying to put your toddler to sleep, but for most people I imagine it's no big deal.The case is definitely more hefty than my old Mous case, but it hasn't bothered me yet. And the matte metallic Iron Man red is actually quite appealing. I haven't dropped it yet, but it feels well-protected.But here's the thing -- it won't be long till I lose or break the top. I contacted them as I had lost the top piece of the battery case. But unfortunately I was past the return policy ,and they don't have replacements for the top piece of the battery case. However they advised they would send another brand-new battery case to you as a gift, this has exceeded my exceptions.
