Resin ON A Stick® Magical Copal Incense (10)

Magical Copal is one of several scents I ordered of this brand. Because it's resin rolled in more resin it's very sticky. In fact my order came with instructions to keep these sticks in a cool place - preferably the fridge or freezer. I'd like to add that you should open the package from the side and carefully pull each stick apart from the rest. You'll never get them out of the package any other way. Fred Soll's incense is generally long lasting. This scent, I feel, is even more so. Supposedly they have a tendency to go out. I haven't had this problem yet but given the amount of fragrance they produce, saving them in the holder and relighting them the next day is not a bad thing.

This is the best Copal incense I've found. It smells wonderful. It is real copal resin. Keeping it in the refrigerator helps them not stick together. These burn for a very long time. Be careful not to burn while holding it in your hand. The resin can drip off as it burns and it will burn your hand. Place it on an incense holder or in a bowl of sand while burning and be careful if you walk around with it. This Copal incense is wonderful for space clearing.

We love the copal incense! The resin covered incense sticks are so much easier to burn than the copal resins that we used to buy. They also burn for at least a couple of hours. The only thing to be mindful of is that the sticks tend to stick together (because they have real resin on them). One must be patient and careful when separating them, but they're totally worth it. You'll enjoy these!

I wanted to see what the fuss was about. The smell didn't wow me at all. I did do as the instructions stated and it burned well and lasted significantly longer than many other incense sticks. I just don't see that mattering if you aren't getting any type of fragrance. Glad they offered 1 stick as a purchase option. Happy I tried but won't buy again. Oh they did add a handwritten note which was a surprise and a nice touch. I appreciated that.

This brand is very high quality and I have several scents I love. I was excited that they make a Copal as I love Copal ever since I smelled it at a ceremony in Mexico. I bought some in Mexico and when it ran out, tried to find some that smelled like it. This is not it... It's not a bad scent - the closest thing it resembles is the smell of a wood camp fire. So I will use it, but will keep looking for the Copal scent I love.

Copal, known for its healing properties and association with the crown chakra. This had citrus-notes that I was not prepared for (just not a fan of citrus) but it was actually a pretty good scent overall and gently nurtures some great vibes with it. 7.5/10

I bought this because of the reviews, they all spoke of longevity, and smells great which in fact it does! My experience with Copal comes from the many ceremonies I have done both her and in Mexico, which is where I usually but my Copal. I wanted to find some here in the states but most of them suck pretty bad. Now the difference may be that I usually use the white/grey Copal , this resin is black and very sticky. My nose smells frankincense and clove, not quite the deep woody smell of the grey. Not gross by any means, just not what I was hoping for. Therefor I give it the 4 stars because if it smelled perfect (to me) it would have been worth the price. It is however cheaper than flying to mexico.May buy again.

I like that it is hand made in USA, I like the scent, it burns well, it was delivered on time, I had bought some of this when I went to visit someone in another state and I was so happy to find it here on amazon! It was a bit sticky so I separated the sticks to make it easier to use. I like the quality, you can tell you are getting top of the line ingredients as compared to inexpensive brands. I will purchase this again!
