Sole does not last!!!
To whom it may concern:I am very upset about the condition of my new Chippewa work boots after just a few weeks of use. The sole is already coming off of the actual boot, and I believe that this is a manufacturing error. If you would like to hear the full story of what happened, please contact me, as the entire text will not fit on this entry.I look forward to finding a solution quickly, be it a Chippewa online credit, or even a replacement of the boots. Please be in touch, thank you

Good work boots
Good work boots. This is the second pair I've owned. First pair lasted ~two years. They held up great for the first year and fairly well over the second. We get a boot allotment at work every two years. I likely wouldn't have waited that long to replace them otherwise. I wear them every day at the shop. I spend roughly 3 months working at sea on ships (not fishing). Additionally, I do arborist work on the side. In short, they held up well, working on deck, in spikes climbing trees, general tree work, and everyday wear. Without knowing why you are looking at them I can't recommend that they are the right boot but for me ... I will buy them again.

Doesn't stand up against a month's worth of landscape work.
I bought these boots for landscape work and only after a month's use the stitching of the bottom of leather panel that holds the eyelets to the boot is coming undone. This is a pretty crucial part of the boot that is already failing. For over a $100, I expect a pair of shoes to be functional longer than a month. In conclusion? Would not recommend- buy something that has a better, stronger design.

Wow
They suffered through three months of hell tree planting. Soaked, beaten, kicked, these things were put to the test and came out alive. No other logging specific shoe other than the 600 dollar vibergs made it out in the same condition from the camps I was in. I did resole them after with a more neutral sole for hiking and I still wear them. Take care of them with a water proofing wax or grease and you'll be happy.
