Travelon Anti-Theft Heritage Tour Bag

This is a well made, substantial bag! Seams are very well done. Material is thick and high quality. Zippers are very sturdy. Lining is extremely well done. Yet not overly big or heavy. Lots of large pockets easy to get into (not too small with tiny openings) - and they lock if you want them to. Handy little pin light clipped inside as well for peering inside your bag without having to pull out your phone with its bright light. There is a well-sewn extension inside that has the pin light on it with a keychain type ring at the end that is great for clipping car/house keys on. This bag won’t be damaged tossing it about at the beach, on the plane or just in your car and home. Excellent deal for the money!

I bought this to replace another Travelon bag that I had worn out after 10 years of traveling. I like this one even better. The strap is easy to hook and unhook in order to loop the bag through a chair back and keep it secure. The two zipper locks are easy to hook and unhook as a user but still tricky enough to deter a passing pickpocket. The front pocket expands on one side so it can hold a wallet easily and give easy access to me but with that hook on the zipper, no one else can get at it. The pocket linings are all striped so it’s easy to spot things in the interior (solid black linings make it impossible to see what’s inside). The strap is very comfortable (more so than my last Travelon). I love the two zipper side pockets for a water bottle and whatever else but when not in use, they zip right up and aren’t even noticeable like some side pockets on other purses/bags. I’m loving this bag.

The little clips that attach the zipper to the bag make this a great bag.I have since bought this type of clip to use on all my backpacks so it's hard for anyone to just get into it easily while you might be distracted.I used it as my main travel bag, has an RFID pocket to protect your passport/ cc's anything w/ a chip it in.I put my Kindle, lots of papers, notebook, phone, music player and all day long collected things to add.It's a good weight of canvas so a bit heavy to start but it's worth the price for the security!

I just got this and will update my review later but first of all - I was downsizing from a larger and heavier bag with none of the safety features. I loved that the bag wasn't out of my price range - I love that its not too heavy and I really love the safety features - people are just getting crazier and crazier out there. Easy to organize your often grabbed for items( lip balm, hand sanitizer, etc) away from your wallet and keys, easy access pocket to my oversized phone, and if you take the time to latch the zipper locks, there won't be any grab and go. The strap is long enough to loop itself around a shopping cart handle or wear crossbody but shortens up enough to use the top handle if you want. I really like this bag, but will update my review after I've had it awhile and I see how the zippers and hardware have stood up to my level of abuse. I've tried very expensive bags with lifetime guarantees and baggalini as well and have killed off the zippers on both. This purse was economical and offers a good level of security.

Used this for traveling. Can take the shoulder strap off and hand carry. So many compartments that zip and has safety connection so no one can get into your compartments

This bag is so very heavy and when it is warm out, your body will sweat anywhere it is resting against you. I could see this more as a commuter bag, as it would hold an iPad and other office stuff, but for day tripping around Rome, it was just too much bag for us. The strap is uncomfortable across your shoulder and it was not inexpensive. It might be right for the right person, but just okay for me. Ended up only using it one time on our Italian vacation, and that was on a day that we could leave it in the car with our driver while we went sightseeing.

I liked everything about it. Unfortunately, one of the zippers was broken. In true Amazon fashion I was able to return it and purchase a new one.
