Q: How clear is this? Foggy at all in bottle?

The tube is clear grey and black. But the gloss is all clear. No glitter added to the gloss. I still love the shine.

Q: Will this add gloss to a long lasting matte lip paint without breaking down the long lasting quality and staying power?

I only wear the lip gloss. I don’t wear it with lipstick because it has such a fabulous shine all by itself! Sorry that I couldn’t be of more help.
