My plan is to have the small and large option at the cheapest price, see how I like them, adjust to them, and then down the line look into buying a name brand. This product arrived and I immediately boiled them, washed them, and started testing. Me being a 32 yr old that has carried 3 children (3 c-sections) found that the large works better. I found that the push down fold works best for me. I did need to use a little lube towards the end to help it slide in and out easier. I was a little nervous the first few times I used them because it seemed like they go up pretty far. I can still feel and grab the stem but I was worried. Lol, so I took some kite string and threaded it through the bottom of the cup, not piercing the cup, so that I could have something to tug on (like a tampon) if I couldn't reach it. It worked great! Getting it out took a little practice now, it's so easy. I'm one cycle in and I can't wait for next month! You can't feel it, no gushing or worrying about changing pads and tampons every few hours. Great starter set! Definitely recommend every woman try them. I have PCOS and normally have really painful and hard periods that last between 10-20 days. I lost my small cup so I plan on purchasing another one! There is minimal cramping, not caused by the cup. It is not dry or itchy down there, like it would be with a tampon. I have had some of my hardest days and there has been no leaks! I am currently wearing a liner, it is not leaking, but when I took it out to clean I bled quite a bit so it's to prevent the blood past the cup from staining my underwear. I would recommend watching videos on how to insert and take out and maybe try a few times before your period starts. Obviously, blood smells terrible and this product does not help once you take the cup out, but while it is in, it reduces smell. If I could change anything, I wish there was a loop for your finger to prevent dropping it in the toilet (which has happened to me).
