Akitaka svolge il lavoro meravigliosamente, con una cura ai dettagli uguale se non superiore: non ho trovato una virgola fuori posto in nessuno dei tre volumi del quinto episodio, tutto viene riportato alla perfezione dalla novel, mantenendosi fedele allo spirito originale dei personaggi (cosa che gli altri mangaka che hanno lavorato a questa serie non hanno saputo fare allo stesso modo). Ineccepibile dal punto di vista dei disegni, lo stesso puó dirsi della storia: snellisce, dove necessario, dei passaggi che nella novel erano troppo lunghi e verbosi (in particolare nella fase del processo, nel terzo volume), ed è ricca piú che mai di indizi e feels. Una storia che, ad ogni episodio, si conferma sempre piú come un capolavoro. Bellissima la new entry, il personaggio di Erika Furudo, kawaii e creepy allo stesso momento.
