Protective Cover for Sig Romeo 1, Black, 2-Pack | Made in USA

Update: I just received my second order and decided to try sanding because cutting made previous covers too loose. I just upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars and here's why... The cover, made of black natural rubber, withstood my sanding of the side that goes between the rear sight and the Romeo 1 on the P320 RX. I used several emery boards switching from wet to dry sanding. I sanded the outside part. I also lightly trimmed a curve into each edge to allow the cover to sit more flush to the slide. I then lightly trimmed the front lip so it fit better into my holster creating a tight fit that will only loosen when drawing the firearm. By sanding instead of cutting the notch, it's a tighter fit that won't come off until you want it to. If you wet the rubber and sand carefully you'll end up with a smooth finish. It's made well and it would be great on a Romeo 1 mounted with lots of space. It just doesn't fit the P320 RX perfectly because the rubber lip of cover won't fit between the iron front sight and the Romeo 1. I cut an opening in each of mine but it becomes too loose. I ordered a second pair and plan to wet sand the rubber lip in that area to make it thinner. It's still the best cover available. The plastic Sig cover was too cheap and rubbed the finish off the edge of the optic's frame, so this rubber cover is the solution. It's the best protection there is! I trimmed the front tab a little so my firearm would holster correctly. It fits well with Fierce Defender holsters, Winter Warrior and PL2 Mini Pyre.

First off - quality is good. Second - as others have said, you do need to modify this or the factory rear sight won't let it sit down all the way. Finally - just buy the one for the DeltaPoint Pro instead. It's longer and fits great over the rear sight. It's a tiny bit loose but the Romeo 1 model will be as well once you modify it. Saves you having to cut and modify the Romeo 1 model. Either path you choose - these are good to have as spares for when you do loose the original.

I continue to use these when I get red dot mounted on a pistol. I don't care for the little tab on the front (for lifting the cover?), but it's easy to cut off if it interferes. Great price, and it works. Match the unit to the specific red dot and you get a snug fit. DOES NOT FIT THE ROMEO ! PRO (has the shroud!) on any of my three P320s, but DOES FIT THE ROMEO 1 W/O THE SHROUD. Even the OEM cover from Sig for the Romeo 1 Pro only fits one of the three P320s. So be careful to see which model of P320 slide you have, as the one I got from Sig will only fit the one slide. Modularity isn't perfect on the P320s! Dream Plastics on Amazon only has the one for the basic Romeo 1 w/o the shroud that I could find.

Recently took delivery of a sig P320RXP compact. The plastic Romeo lens cap that came with the gun was cracked. The neoprene replacement here is excellent. They ship it with 2 covers. You can take an exact knife and trim the end that faces the rear sight and it fits perfectly. It won’t scratch your sight and if you drop the firearm it will protect the shroud. Not sure what the other individual reviewer was referring too. If you have a Romeo 1 Pro this is the best replacement protector I’ve found to date.

I purchased the product with it fitting the Sig Sauer Romeo 1 Pro. Yes, it does fit the optic but with my Sig P320 RXP XCompact with the suppressor height sites, I had to notch out the rear of the cover to fit flush. Then I purchased the Sig metal shroud for my optic. The cover definitely no longer fit.

It’s hard to find a direct replacement cover for the Romeo 1. This company delivered, and the cover fits entirely over the Romeo 1 with ease. It fits snug just enough to keep it in place and protect the optic. I do recommend. Decent price and fast shipment!!

Surprisingly better fit and protection than the OEM and you won't smash it by stepping on it which is why I had to buy one to begin with. Don't know why the two pack for $18 when one will last me for the rest of my days.

Great product! Fit is snug on the Sig Romeo 1. I do not like the front tab however. It is wasted material as my Sig Romeo 1s are attached to MOS Glocks! I used an Xacto knife and trimmed it off in order to have a more seamless fit/look. Might be a good idea to make a version like this especially for MOS users. But, the front tab is acceptable for the Romeo 1 on my Sig P320 XFive. I did not trim that one off. Overall, a really good product that I highly recommend!
