Great medium duty latches, they swivel great and worked perfectly for my dog leash project!

I use these for leashes and key fobs. I included a pic of the measurements, take it for what it's worth. They are probably best described as medium weight. I have 5 dogs, one is a pit bull. I can walk him with this and a handmade leash because he's well behaved, 13 and blind. I would be responsible and spend more for a heavier weight clip for a young, large, strong dog. For the money these are excellent medium weight clips. You can expect to use these for any small to medium, or elderly, dog leashes, key fob, purse, bag, crate enclosure, etc.... No problem. Don't expect to control a Mastiff, or any large dog, or bet your own safety with a clip out of this, or any bulk package, and you'll be just fine.

Maybe a bit cheap definitely wouldn’t use for a big strong dog but if you make leashes etc for small dogs I would recommend easy to work with! Have not rusted either

I make paracord horse and dog leads, and I reorder these snap hooks every time. They are the sturdiest that I've found in the 3 inch size, and they keep their shiny finish after being exposed to the elements. I would not recommend them for heavier duty needs, such as hanging food or water buckets - but if you are looking at the 3 inch size, you probably already know that you need something larger. Highly recommended!

Purchase these in lieu of spending 45-something each to replace the shoulder straps on my Shindaiwa EB802RT backpack blower. Easily sewn into the original strap, are the same physical size, look nearly identical, and work great. Couldn't be happier!

They look like the pictures, but there is no heft to them at all. Don’t feel like a quality item. I’m only using them to make suspenders, but if you need something you can count on to be strong, shop local so to can hold it and gauge its strength better.

Use them to fix some produce that we repair

Good quality but be aware when says 1” that is size of outside square of hook, the inside smaller so if you are placing a one in strap though it will be too small

Pratique pour la laisse de mon chien. Par contre, la prochaine fois, je vais prioriser un modèle un peu plus gros. J'aimais la quantité fournie dans cet achat, mais après 1 an, j'ai brisé moi-même le modèle identique que j'avais.

Only 3/4" wide so will not fit a 1" strap as advertised. And not very heavy duty. Maybe OK for a poodle...
