I was surprised by the sweeping second hand movement. This is a high quality piece and worth paying a little extra for. Replacing one that got waterlogged last year and stopped working. This one has a screw on back that seals water out of the movement. You still need to put it under an overhang not direct open to the weather, but def a sealed system for outdoors. Some people claim issues with batteries dying. They are not following the instructions. You cant use regular alkaline you need carbon zinc AAs which are 5 bucks for 4 on amazon.

Not sure about the star system on this. How do you rate a clock on its warmth? It is a nice clock and I have it outside so I can see the time while I am in the pool. I can read it from across the yard easily. You can’t see the smaller dials but those aren’t critical to me. I’m not sure about the accuracy of temperature readings as it reads slightly higher than my digital thermometer.

Clocks are not expensive, but clocks with additional gauges are considerably more. This is a fairly large clock yet the gauges for temp and humidity become worthless once the clock has been hung up because they are so small. Very disappointing. Wish I has returned it!

Beautiful clock. Just the right size and easy to read outdoors from a distance.....However, the batteries drain within a week and this is unacceptable. I had my husband mount the clock about 7 ft up a wall. I'm not going to drag a step ladder out every Saturday to replace the battery. Vary disappointed. I purchased this clock in February to be mounted outside by the new pool under construction. The pool was completed two weeks ago at the end of April. The brand new batteries have died twice in two weeks.

I HAVE HAD ABOUT 4 OUTDOOR CLOCKS OVER THE YEARS AND THE THERMOMETER HAS NOT WORKED ON ANY OF THEM UNTIL NOW.

The clock is located outside, under cover. So far it's kept good time. The two previous cheap clocks from Target and Lowe's failed after a few months.

It has never worked. The hygrometer and thermometer work but, the hour and minute hands will not turn. It’s very disappointing because the timepiece is beautiful.

Even with new batteries the clock was never correct after the first few months. Looks like several others have had similar issues.

Good quality exterior wall clock. Looks great and works well. Recommended.
