I got this to mount on a power-sander. It will do the job, but £13 for a short section of hose seems a lot (Amazon has 2.5m of Henry hose for £15). Generally when adding hose for dust extraction I find a friend or the cleaning staff at work with a dead hoover with lengths unwanted, but in need this would do.

I have a few power tools for my woodwork and saw dust (and dust generally) is always a problem. SO I set up a vacuum system using pipes like this one, in order to keep the sawdust to a minimum.In use this does not kink, therefore making sure that a good quality suction is maintained all the time. Cheap thin ones of these can kink easily and end up cracking, thus leaving a hole in the tube. This one is rigid enough to remain working perfectly.This section can be called a short one and is best to use on hand held power tools like a sander or jigsaw. Not the best but comes a good second, cheaper too.

Does what I bought it for

Didn’t buy this for a vacuum cleaner needed it to connect from my mitre saw to a dust extraction system and it worked perfectly very flexible as it needs to be.Very pleased with product
