Yes-you unfold the legs. Peel off the sticky wrap that’s on it -mine was blue colour- stand on floor& place grill trays on top. We put foil in bottom that covers all bbq area inside for easy cleaning. Hope this helps.

Do you do a carry case

You can try: Method 1: You can use hot water soaked towel to wipe the film on the grill and then remove the film. The higher temperature difference will make the film tear off quickly. Method 2: You can directly blow the film with the hot air of the hair dryer. After a few minutes, you can simply tear off the film.
