Actual dress is not wine red but more of a true red, think Christmas or bell pepper red. Neckline was higher than image appears- pleasantly surprised about that. Dress smells like plastic, I imagine the smell will fade upon washing. Very stretchy material, not uncomfortable around my belly at all. Perfect length for me- just touches the floor. Planning on wearing it for maternity photos. Would buy again in a dif.
