    The Dal is yummy as always, but the packages are TINY

We normally buy this deliciously spicy Dal directly from Trader Joe's, but that's not possible where we currently spend our winter months.  So we were thrilled to see it available - but the packaged amount is much smaller than what we buy from the store directly.  Makes it *way* too expensive.

    Good But Not The Best

There are several companies selling Dal Tadka.  This one is okay, but there are more authentic and better tasting products available on line, and from Amazon.  I suppose, the taste is a matter of personal preference.  You should try the different choices, and settle on the one you find the best, but I doubt it will be this one.

OK. My honest opinion:Yes it is very good. Let’s establish this clearly.- it’s almost $7.00 per pack. The pack is 10 fl ounces. HOW does this make TWO SERVINGS, as you list on your label?? One bag yields ONE scant serving.- it’s very high in sodium. Why so much salt?So, bottom line: in a pinch, i would buy it again. I would microwave 1 bag, and add a little hot water to make the serving more substantial and less salty
