I’m a TV and broadband installer and this is the Best toner I have ever bought i’ve been using this for over a month or two very easy to find the cable Plus CAT5 cables are now so easy to find and test at the same time no need to run back and forward hasn’t let me down yet and very handy with the light... Great price well worth buying it... Best thing about those toner is it’ll bell out all pairs At the same time My last one would only bell out 1 pair Meaning your find the cable so much faster and easier to find faults...

I bought this network tool because I am running a load of cat6 cable throughout the house prior to putting down new flooring and needed to be sure each outlet and patch panel connection were 100% reliable before the floor was laid. Better safe than sorry since the floor cannot be lifted if there is a problem. The tool is very easy to use and shows very clearly the individual wires being tested on each cable. I have not tried the other functions yet but the instructions are simple to read and operation straight forward. Unfortunately the testers have failed after nine months of light intermittent use but a quick note to the vendors and a replacement unit is on its way. I cannot fault that for customer service - absolutely top notch. I will update this review once the new unit is received and I will try and test out some of the other functions.

Invaluable for network installation and troubleshooting

Bought to trace some telephone wiring. Tone generator cuts out after 5 secs no matter the sensitivity used. Returned.

Went to use on a job today and just smoked on me , would never buy this again , only had for 5months and used quite a lot , shame I can’t get a refund
