I bought these (10" size/pack of 25) for a little pizza party this past weekend and they were absolutely perfect.Some of us (not admitting to anything here... LOL) put a bunch of pizza slices on their plates and there was no buckling whatsoever.I washed a few - those that didn't get smeared with pizza sauce - by hand with very hot water and dish soap. Perfectly reusable. Depending on your foods, your results may vary.I plan to get more of these and use them for outdoor BBQ'ing this summer. They'll easily hold up under the weight of a big juicy ribeye steak or grilled chicken - anything, really.I just noticed they're not only microwavable but can also be placed in the oven. I was already elated before I learned that and I'm even happier with this purchase!Unequivocal recommendation!

I recently hosted a 95th birthday lunch for my mom. I did not have enough flatware or plates for such a large gathering, so I was forced to use disposables. I opted for bamboo cutlery and these palm-leaf plates in 2 sizes. They were perfect for the occasion. Sturdy but lightweight. Everyone commented on how nice and attractive they were, and I was happy knowing they had been made from palm fonds that were collected from the ground.

Good size and stability. Can be hand washed after use for foods not too liquid. Compostable

Very sturdy and more stylish than plastic or paper plates. We used these for cupcakes at a party and disposed of them in our compost. They do have "ridges" and are not a completely smooth surface, but this is just due to the fact that they are made from palm leaves. It did not affect their use.

The plates were smaller than I thought. Not super thick but were ok. Some of them were a little strange looking because of how the fibers were formed but my guests thought they were pretty cool looking plates. Only 3 were pulled because of strange defect.

I hosted a wedding shower and my bride wanted me to reduce waste as much as possible and use no plastic. These little plates are wonderfully made and exactly what I was looking for. I made mini-charcuterie boards and they were a huge hit. Everyone loved the beautiful presentation on these little plates.

A little on the pricey side, but we used these plates for a backyard BBQ with lots of messy sauces and they earned their keep! The plates are sturdier than paper, infinitely more eco friendly than styrofoam, and you don't have to waste time and water washing them. Will definitely buy again.

For easy of clean up after a large gathering one can’t beat disposables, but I don’t want to add to the landfill problem; thus, these palm leaf plates. They compost within weeks and no trees are cut to make them! The plates proved to be stable when piled with food and dips and e en held up in the microwave. Will buy more for our next book club.
