Great product . Very easy to crimp to battery wire side of alternator

Heavier than normal and they do the trick. Feels like I’m crimping something this time.

THE GOOD.. Got a lot of pieces for the price.. Nice organized box.. THE BAD..VERY thin gauge..Not heavy duty as stated..I will not use these on any heavy duty applications.. Euphemism "spy Hole" in title is another way of saying open end....Stated in the description "closed design".. Unfortunately for me I did not catch the double statement.. I now have to solder the hole closed.. I WILL.. Keep and use these.. BUT.. Only on light duty applications..

You should know what wire these are going to be best for. They are not very thick and un my opinion not heavy duty at all but for the money they are nice, I would not use this variant for battery terminals that have stiffer wires and thicker stranded copper even on the small stuff just because you really want something more robust around the cars battery terminals. these will give almost as easily as the cheaper crimp o'ring style that are based off of stamped chopper or aluminum plate sold at your nearest auto parts and just break off over time though they are significantly better quality, These are a bit too weak for the larger wires and just don't have allot of support when bolted down. But for stranded copper welding wire or "cca" aluminum wire these are a perfect as those wires are more flexible. I recommend soldering after crimping or just soldering.

Good assortment. Great value for money especially when compared to the ripoff auto part stores. Terminals are acceptably sturdy. I was using with #6 stranded copper battery cable. I just put the wire in and crimped it with a hammer. Don't need a special crimping tool (You can add a line crimp with a pair of side cutters after the hammer treatment).

Used these during Landrover renovation and have done the job very well. Compared to others I've seen they are good value for money and so far have done the job well. All I would say is get the proper crimping tool to get the best results.
