Nice but needs smaller sizes
This is a nice tool, but I missed that it only went to .15 and I need it a little smaller to check valve clearances.

Full of oil
Too much oil added so they would slide easier. Had to continually wipe off.

You get what you pay for
I like that the measurements are etched into the blades so they won't wear off. Not sure they'd last long enough for that to happen even if the measurements were printed on, though.I found no burrs on the blades or blade protector, but the thumb notch in the blade protector has sharp corners. You may want to file those corners a tiny bit, being careful not to leave any burrs that could damage the outermost blades. These feeler gauges come with quite a bit of oil on them. I'd suggest wiping each feeler down once with a shop rag or paper towel when you first get them to avoid getting oil on whatever you're measuring. There should be plenty left over to keep them from corroding for some time. Also, they come in a thin plastic sheath to protect them in your toolbox, bag or pocket.Accuracy isn't great, but for this price... I measured several of the blades with my digital calipers. The thinner blades were all within about 10% of the stated thickness, and the thicker ones were within about 5%. I suspect most feeler gauges at this under ten dollar price point would have similar issues, though. If you need more precision, be prepared to buy a more expensive and exacting set of feelers.Overall I think these will meet my needs. If not, I'm not out too much money.

Covered in oil
It was covered in oil when it arrived. Now I have to spend time cleaning it. Thanks!

Great gauge set
Yes the set comes with a lot of oil on it but I guess that's to prevent corrosion, just wipe the blades with a cloth or paper towel before using the first time. I consider it to be a great set. It comes with a pouch for storage, and more important (at least to me) it's that the numbers are engraved/etched! So there's no chance for the numbers to disappear with use. It seems to be of good quality, I measured a few gauges with a caliper and the readings were correct.
