StetsonMen's Gus Soft Wool Crushable Outdoor Hat

It looks good and feels good, keeps my bald head nice and warm also.

A very nice, good quality cowboy hat. This is my third Stetson crushable cowboy hat, having purchased two a number of years ago. I originally ordered an XL - the same size as my other two colors - and it was too large. Size large fit fine. So, if you’ve bought these in the past you may find a difference in sizing.

It's a Stetson, so it's inherently good quality. Lightweight, sizing is 100% accurate, comfortable to wear, good construction and looks great. This version of the Gus is very similar to the Kentucky-style cavalry hat. It also does a good job passing as a 1800s style Old West hat, because it has no modern buckles, vent holes, etc. Looks good with my Old West Pinkerton trick shooting get up. You do have to work on the shape a little, but it's easy. Don't cheap out on your hat, just order this one - the inexpensive imported ones just don't look or wear as good.

The only reason I didn’t rate it at five stars is because it took over a week to come from Tennessee to Salt Lake City with UPS as the carrier. That’s seems excessive to me. The hat itself is perfect; exact color, shape, and fit I was looking for.

What the heck is going on here with quality of items seemingly after covid.!?This hat is featherweight and not close to what I expected from Stetson. It also has a couple of imperfections that makes me think it's from a defective lot. And the price of it for $100 is exorbitant. Why?

Stetson hats are the hands down leader in “cowboy” hats, as well as in other styles of hat. My husband is a “hat guy”, and this specific one is one of his favorites.

Stetson doesn't mean what it used to. This is a fashion hat for ladies out to brunch. The felt feels cheap, and the XL didn't fit my head. I wear between 7 1\2 and 7 5\8, this xl barely sat on my head like a yarmulke.

Hat was not like the photo, it was warped. Surprised since it was made by Stetson . Yes, I know it only cost a bit more than a hundred bucks, but it was like a carnival prize. I’ll have to see how it ages.Update: I really like this hat! Very comfortable to wear and great for warm weather. It is much cooler than my straw hat. Glad I bought it!

Es muy bello y me quedo muy bien

Schöner Hut aber leider mit Drahtband in der Krempe. Sowas kenn ich sonst nur von Billighüten. Muss überlegen ob ich ihn deshalb zurück gehen lasse. Ansonsten, passt gut, habe Hutgr.59 / L und L passt perfekt.Gus ist die alte Westernhutform. Von Stetson in Germany schwer zu bekommen. Sieht gut aus.Muss also jeder für sich entscheiden, Drahtband im Hut ok oder nicht.

Love this hat it’s comfy warm and you can make so many different styles out of it with its adjustable wire rim.
