Excellent product
I have been bokashi composting for many years. I have made my own bran and tried many other commercial products. Most of them are over priced. This stuff is a super value and seems to have a ton of active microbes. Highly recommended

Works good so far.
I am a former SCD Bokashi user. I could buy SCD Bokashi from Walmart online for $11, now it's $19. Wow, it's steep! So, I was looking for replacement. I even thought about making my own, I was not confident to dry the wet bokashi bran. SCD Bokashi is coarser and has better smell to it when you open the bag. However, it seems like that this bokashi bran is working pretty good. There is a white mold growing in the bin, which is normal and happened with SCD Bokashi. I haven't buried the batch yet. But so far, the outcome is just same as SCD bokashi. If the price stays the same, I will keep on buying it from this seller. Quick shipment and well packaged.

Poor Quality of bran not expected
The bran is not 100% wheat or rice. It's stated on the bags that it could contain animal products and the odor was terrible. The plastic bag doesn't have to be opened to smell the offensive odor. The bran did properly ferment the kitchen waste and that's all that I can say positive about it. Whenever the finished bucket was emptied, a putrid smell was there and am glad that bran is finished (3 bags were bought in July of 2012) but it was a long yr and a half of having to use the stinky stuff. I was able to locate online from another source Bokashi 100% wheat bran that smells just right, not at all offensive, and it will be a pleasure now to use it.

I really like my Bokashi
I really like my Bokashi, so this product is a necessity for me. It destroys any odors, and breaks down food and scraps within a week. I have to give this a good review, I will continue buying this product.

Bags arrived with NO labels. WHY?
The bags have no labels. Plain paper bags. Why?!!
