Living in Pennsylvania where we salt our roads more than our French fries, I began the habit some years back of washing the undercarriages of our vehicles at the end of winter. I don’t mean going to the car wash and paying extra for the “undercarriage wash” which does nothing, I’m talking about putting the vehicle up on ramps and getting on a creeper and actually blasting the underside and hitting all the nooks and crannies. I decided to add this product to the process and hopefully gain a little more advantage. I applied it by using the foaming bottle on a pressure washer and blasting away. There is no way to actually measure the results but I know that this is used with great success in industrial and marine applications. I will say that the undercarriages of our vehicles were pretty salty (we had a few big storms) and once I was finished and everything was dry, it all looked very clean. I’m satisfied.

Love this stuff, you can spray the undercarriage and leave it it will dissolve the salt and add rust inhibitor protection. Remove the salt for your undercarriage. If use on body panels definitely rinse of. I only use on undercarriage and it won't wash away woolwax.

Works great for flushing salt out of gear and engines. Helps prevent corrosion and extends life of equipment. A must for saltwater use.

Good product that works well on all surfaces

First time using this product. Seems its a good product to reduce the salt after this long cold snowy winter on my car.

Long Island Sound boater....boat is in the water May to September and I used/ran the boat almost every weekend. I use this to flush my motor as part of the winterization. I hookup the hose to the hot water feed from the washing machine. Run the hot water for about 10 minutes, then attach the hose adapter mix thing and run two "batches" through. (the liquid is dark blue at the start and I run the water until its almost clear, then load a full all blue adapter again. No idea how good it works. I also put a 50/50 mix of this and water in a spray bottle and spray the entire bottom of my boat and it seems to thin out and in some cases remove the film/residue of accumulated salt/slime build-up. In the spring, i will powerwash and use a brush with hot soapy water to clean and prep for fresh coat of bottom paint.

So many of my boating friends swear by this stuff, and I have never had a bit of rust on any of my boats since I have been using this regularly.

I find this the best way to clean a boat removing salt and environmentally friendly. My boat’s on a slip so I lightly spray this over the whole boat after most uses and wait a few minutes and hose off with greasy water. And it doesn’t take polymer coating or waxes off. Perfect to keep boats and engines in tip top shape. I also flush my outboard with it after most uses.
