We have purchased two Lollipop Baby Cameras for our little ones, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The camera's adorable design immediately caught our eye, and its performance has exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the setup was a breeze. The user-friendly interface made it easy for me to connect the camera to my phone and a tablet for the babysitter, allowing us to keep an eye on our baby from anywhere. The video quality is crystal clear, providing us with peace of mind knowing we can check in on my little one at any time - even when we are away from the wifi network. The camera is compact and travels well, too. One of the standout features of the Lollipop Baby Camera is its versatility. The ability to customize the alerts for motion and sound detection is incredibly handy. It ensures that we am only notified when it matters most, giving us the freedom to focus on other tasks without constantly checking the feed. What truly sets the Lollipop Baby Camera apart, though, is the exceptional customer service we received. I had a few questions during the setup process, and the support team was not only prompt in their response but also incredibly helpful. They guided me through every step and made sure I felt confident in using all the features of the camera. And, it's cute! In our tree-themed son's room, we attached a hook that looked like a stick to our wall and wrapped the base of the Lollipop around the stick. He loves it! I am genuinely impressed with the quality of the Lollipop Baby Camera and the level of customer service provided by the company. It's clear that they care about their customers' experiences, and that kind of dedication is rare to find these days. I will start by saying, I researched this monitor after the recommendation from a friend several years ago. I finally made the decision to get one and I was able to find one gently loved from amazon for a good price, in case I didn’t love it. I got it put up in my kiddos room, set up was fairly easy. I love the picture quality and sound quality, I love that its stem is malleable and can change shape to fit where I need it to. The night vision is excellent, the option for 24-7 AND away from the network live viewing is amazing and helps my diagnosed anxiety when I’m at work and she is with her sitter. I love that it sends me notifications if the decibel goes above a certain point even if its just her fan sometimes. The app is in my opinion user friendly and I love that the company has tiers for subscription options for those who may not be able to afford the highest tier up front, have the option of a 7 day free trial and 10 a month afterward. I am so glad to have made this purchase and plan to purchase another if we ever have another baby one day(which you can have more than one on the network as well and can log into the app from multiple devices which we also love).

I have a confession to make, I fell victim to the “top selling” “most popular” item on amazon. I bought the......infant optics monitor. Now, had I done my job properly, which I generally do with every tech/gadget/tool/anything I buy, I would have researched properly and found WiFi monitors are the way to go. After a week of issues, I decided to go for the lollipop camera. It arrived this morning, next day - thank you Amazon. So the packaging is slick, like a giant iPhone almost 😁. It neat, sturdy and feels like a quality product. This is stage 1 of the review - initial setup and thoughts, though I will post an update after a few weeks of living with it. The setup via the app was freakishly easy. To get the camera up and running was simple - the settings that you may want to change will require some brain power but it’s no different from any other app. The USB power lead is lonnnngggggg, which is great as having a 1m cable would suck and be pointless. Video quality is a huge step up from the other brand I had, wide angle view and maybe a 2 second max delay. Pan and tilt is not a feature and I was a little worried about this until a saw how much more picture you get with this thing. The bendy arm is great and I’ve attached ours to the pack and play corner with ease. And when the time comes for the little monster to move to his own room, I’ll wall mount it above the crib. So when we originally looked at cameras, we thought why get WiFi, don’t need it on our phones etc etc. BUT after the arrival of our pride and joy, my thoughts have changed. I go back to work next week and being able to look in on the little man eases any negative feelings about leaving my family and going off to work. You may not think that now, but for you men saying “I’ll enjoy going back to work for some peace and quiet” you’re wrong, after 2 weeks with our baby, your heart melts and you WILL want to see him during the day while you’re sat in your office, in your truck, or wherever you are. Stage 1 review done - summary - great initial setup, impressed with video and the app. No issues so far. UPDATE. So it’s been a couple of weeks and I have to say....it’s awesome. Notifications if the little man is crying, crying loud are great. The picture quality is also great. I’ve not had any connectivity issues but then my WiFi is solid as I installed it all myself. One minor complaint - when you use the built in sound generator (sea breeze, vacuum etc) it overpowers the audio feature on the app. Our little monster has to be really crying to hear him. We have a separate sound machine which we will use to get over this, but having the speaker and mic so close with no filtering seems like a design flaw. But not a deal breaker for such a great monitor. Update - 09/08/19 So the connectivity issues have started. Drops almost every other hour. Will be fine for a while, then a firmware update is sent out and it’s almost unusable. Seems lollipop are their worst enemies, great product that is ruined by terrible patch releases. The QA team should be ashamed to be honest. If it was within the return window, I’d send it back and try the more expensive one I was looking at....let’s see what lollipop will do for us. Rating dropped to 2 UPDATE 3 - 19/12/30 So the WiFi is a little more stable but the android version of the app is a disaster. We moved the little one into his own room, hoping this monitor would do the job we paid for. Unfortunately the audio stream we have running stops anywhere between 2-5am. The app hasn’t crashed, network is fine...app is just useless. Almost ready to pay more and get a smart monitor that actually works as this is terrible. The support is woeful - a screenshot of the network test is what they asked for to prove the network was down?? Really, do they think we’re lying.

I’m not one to typically write reviews but this product is seriously amazing. When I was pregnant, my husband and I spent hours looking for the perfect baby monitor. We didn’t want something that came with a screen or a camera that cost a fortune. We came across the lollipop and immediately were intrigued. We bought the product and set it up right away. Having the option to wall mount of wrap around a crib was perfect as we travel a lot (they also sell a case for traveling that helps protect the camera). The app has a setting where you can turn on the noise to the camera as background noise so you can monitor your baby while still being able to use your phone; perfect for night time. The camera also has night time mode. Subsequently, you can also take little pictures of your baby through the app (great for when you find your little one in funny sleeping positions). The camera app also has cry detection so if you aren’t watching the video or listening to the camera in the background, you’ll also get a notification that your baby is crying and can adjust the sensitivity level to the crying sound that the camera detects. No subscription; just a one time fee of $160. After a year of us owning the camera it started making this tapping noise every few seconds in nighttime mode (very annoying). I send a video to support and they messaged me back saying they were unable to trouble shoot the issue on their end and as a result informed me that they would SEND ME A NEW CAMERA WITHOUT ASKING FOR THE OLD ONE IN RETURN after purchasing the product over a year ago, insane. Purchase, you won’t regret.

It really is so unique and awesome. Everything works perfectly now and I can see the baby wherever I am and get push notifications for crying, sound level and with the Bluetooth attachment I can even get notifications if the babies room gets too cold. The built in sound machine is huge! I get a notification my baby is crying and can turn on mozart or white noise or sounds of the womb... really cool feature. I can really go on and on, the features are so thoughtful and really resolve the downside of "not having a monitor separate from your phone". The fungible mechanism also makes it easy to attach to anything without putting adhesive or nails in the wall. It is a 5 star product that is very well thought out. Now my one gripe. Is the Wifi connection. 2300 sq foot house. The lollipop is on the second story opposite side of the house and connected to the Wifi but the signal was extremely weak. Made for a huge headache of terrible reliability, not connecting to the cloud, not able to play sounds etc. Was just terrible unreliable. Frustrating because on my Samsung Note 9, my wifes iphone, our tablets, and our smart tv the wifi is stable and reliable in that room. It is also worth noting that I pay for the most expensive fiber optic wifi from ATT... which is a rip off in and of itself -- a review for another time... Anyway I chose to actually buy the Google Mesh Wifi system. This killed two birds with one stone. I plugged one pod into the router, put the other pod in nursery and the last pod in the garage. Now I have a super strong connection is the garage and in the nursery. Once I did this, the app and camera work 100% solid and reliable. The downside - the google mesh wifi system was $260. That is unacceptable addition to get this to work. Would a $20 wifi extender worked? I do not know. For my use case, I needed the mesh system but your mileage may vary. All in all it is an awesome product but I deduct a star for a poor wifi receptor inside the unit. When my 4 year old table can hold a better wifi connection than this brand new baby monitor, its a problem.

I’m really happy with the Lollipop Baby Monitor! The video quality is clear and reliable, and the motion tracking gives me great peace of mind. One of my favorite features is the 10-day recording—it’s so helpful to look back and see when my baby fell asleep or woke up, and it’s captured some sweet moments too. I'm a mom of 3, and this is my 4th and absolute FAVORITE baby monitor ever!!! I got my first baby monitor 8 years ago - it was cheap and broke after some use, which was why we got a second one. The second baby monitor only supports 2 rooms and we had a 3rd baby so we got our 3rd baby monitor. The second one was traditional with a camera in baby's room and a receiver unit in ours, but the receiver stopped charging correctly a long time ago. I was SO frustrated with the receiver unit. Then came...the LOLLIPOP baby monitor!!! OMG I love it so much! First of all, there is NO receiver unit, which saves on material cost and waste, and takes away my frustration with a receiver unit that wouldn't charge, and that was my only source of viewing the baby! With the Lollipop baby camera, parents can view their baby from the convenience of their phone app, and it's an app very well made. User name and password are required to log in and view your nursery, which makes it as safe as any other security devices out there. My husband had some security concerns about hackers, but nothing of the sort was ever reported, so we will place our trust in the security features offered by Lollipop for now! Secondly, it is the EASIEST baby camera to be installed, ever! All we had to do was wrapping the lollipop camera around the crib and done! The material feels great and is very durable. Thirdly, the app has so many great functions! The color and night vision are amazing. The view is broader and more clear than the other monitors we've had. The app offers many music and sounds to be played in the nursery, and I went in to listen and realized just how gentle the volume is. I don't ever have to worry about hurting the baby's ears for it being loud! The app has many other great functions like adding more kids' rooms, keeping and sharing moments. The Pros outweigh Cons significantly, which is why I still give 5 stars. But I want to point out my main "con" associated with this camera - The sound goes in and out sometimes, and there is a delay when I communicate with baby, that is probably due to the internet being slow. The music feature is amazing, but once it took me 5 connections to connect back to music and switch it off. Again I think it is because of internet connection, which makes the usage of this baby monitor completely dependent on wifi.

I’ve had this camera for about a week. The picture quality is excellent for a baby cam, I also like that it records 30 seconds clips when your baby is crying. So why 3 stars? The app is so bad.. especially for iOS, my husband has a Samsung and it seems to work better but on my iPhone 10 it’s sometines doesn’t even load. The music hasn’t loaded in two days so I wrote the company they are saying it’s because they are trying to update the app for iPhone. Another negative is it doesn’t work on your 5g network. I have 200 speed internet and my WiFi connection is considered poor on the app. It drops out and takes forever to load. The company tells me I need to move the camera closer to the WiFi but I’m not gonna set up my child’s crib in the living room or the den. I do think it’s a great camera and I wish it worked better. When it comes to my kids.. I need something reliable not just something that has a beautiful camera. I wish they could get the app working properly.

Got this camera as first time parents, and really glad we did. The picture quality is great (both day and night) and it sends you notifications if it detects crying. Gave us the confidence to be in a different room (and even occasionally sit outside!) when he was napping. It also makes white noise, which was a surprisingly useful feature. The design is really nice, it's not bulky or ugly, and it mounted nicely on the nursery wall. It's also small enough to transport, we took it when travelling to visit family and it mounted well on the side of the travel cot. It's easy enough to use and you can put the application on as many phones as you want (great for grandparent babysitting).

Really good monitor with all what you really need! Simple and quick setup with easy mount to attach of position anywhere. App is intuitive and useful to understand quickly when the little one may be upset or crying. The only small (but almost negligible) shortcoming would be that the camera needs a strong wifi signal as otherwise you encounter an occasional disconnection and can’t view the baby. Doesn’t happen often. Otherwise thumbs up!

I regret purchasing this baby camera. The Wi-Fi reception is extremely weak, making it practically useless in my home. For the price, I expected much better performance. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver on reliability, and I find it to be a poor investment. I won’t be buying from this brand again, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
