Buy it - this really works - the cost is worth it
I bought this for my 6 year old boy and he was dry within 2 weeks and a year later is fine.I then used it for my 9 year old daughter who has epilepsy and is on meds that really knock her out at night, she was in pj pants and More often than not they were completely sodden plus a wet bed as well - so I didn't hold out much hope! However after 6 nights of using this alarm, she is dry!The 1st 3 nights were tiring, we were up 4-5 times as she was wetting the pants so often, she was getting very tired (as was I!) and started having fits in the mornings as a result so was tempted to give up. the 4th night (with use of stickers to encourage her to get up to the toilet herself) she was up twice and did it all herself. The 5th night she woke up herself without the alarm reminding her to go to the toilet and the 6th night she woke up twice herself again without the alarm reminding her and was completely dry!It is amazing that this system has worked so fast for her - she is thrilled! It is worth buying spare pants as just 2 pairs would not have seen us through the night.Don't bother buying parent alarm as a baby monitor does the same job.Don't worry if the alarm doesn't wake your child at 1st, it took a couple of nights for my daughters' brain to react to the soundLeave a night light on so they don't sleep so heavily and wake more readily to the alarmDon't restrict drinks before bed and don't wake your child to toilet them ( your child's brain has to wake them up when bladder is full in order for this to work)I gave my daughter stickers for getting up to go to the toilet (not for being dry)We are thrilled with this alarm and like it because it doesn't have any wires to worry about and the sensor is not at intrusive like some other systems where the sensor has to go inside underwear. It really does work so please don't worry about the the expense as I did, it is definitely worth it.

Great invention
This is the first time I have written a review, its the first time I have felt strongly enough to want to!This system is brilliant, we have been using this now for 15 months! It has not cured my little girl, however it has put an end to the endless washing of wet sheets. My little girl was just 5 when we started using this and it does what it says on the tin. She had NEVER had a dry night previously so was a bit dubious as to whether it would work, and after a few nights it did! Dont know how it works but when the alarm goes off it stops them from weeing and usually you are only changing the pants and not the bed covers. I would definately recommed bying extra sets of pants so that you have at least 3. I have been washing them regularly for over a year and they are still going strong, just the elastic not very tight now on one pair.We have had to change the battery a few times, and they are not hard to get hold of.It has not solved the problem for my child however it has made life a lot easier. I still have to lift her when I go to bed, but as long as I do this she will last till the morning. It is not often at all now that she wets the bed.I would definately recomend this to anybody, well worth the money especially with our rainy weather! I dont honestly think we would be at this stage now had I not bought this product.

Brilliant Product!
We bought this for our 8 year old son who wet the bed most nights. It is obviously very expensive, but it is so worth it. We used the sticker chart so we could track his progress and he knew he would get a reward for doing well. Straight away he was excited about this product and seeing his stars build up. The first two weeks he only had 1 wet night. We decided not to wake him up late to go the toilet as we didn't want to get into that habit, but basically we didn't need to. Some nights the alarm would wake him and he would stop weeing that second and run to the toilet, so only a few dribbles in his pants. He knew to change his pants before going back to bed. It only took a few weeks before he earned his reward for having 14 dry nights, he was so pleased with himself as were we!He stopped using his special pants after around 2 months and has been dry since! It is a brilliant concept and worth every penny.

Faulty Product
This is the second alarm purchased and yet again it has only lasted a few weeks before developing a problem and it stopped working. This time around it has gone back to Rodger's to be "matched up". Will not be buying any more. A shame really as when it was working it did the job.

Not good
Doesn't work at all. I was cheated. This product is useless and over priced. It was also very difficult to read the instruction.

Its good - would recommend
We bought this for our 9 year old son and it works really well.Plus points:1 Pants come in different sizes.2 Transmitter unit small and clips to the pant elastic3 Receiver (Alarm) can work off batteries or mains and has good range(You can put it in your bedroom)4 Detector in the pants sensitive and can't be 'missed'.Negative points;1 You have to remmber or train your child to disconnect the transmitter from the pants after it gets wet otherwise it flattens the battery (It continually transmitts "I'm wet" despite the alarm being reset on the receiver).2 The poppers that the transmitter clips to the pants with are initially very stiff. On the whole its 100 times better than the wired ones you get from the NHS which the child can lie on and smother the speaker. (The detector can also miss the wet patch should the child wriggle)Sure the Rodger is expensive but they sell easily 2nd hand. Would recommend!
