Easy to Install and Operate
This took my husband less than 10 minutes to install. The attached adapter works great. The water seems to taste better and there is much less calcium build-up in my portable water boiler. One thing is note, the water flow is more like sprays, not streams (what we used to have). But, after a few day's of use, we actually like the sprays better.

East to use, easy to install.
This is such a great filter! BUT the company is even better! My filter recently had an issue and I wrote the company and they immediately sent me a brand new filter. Wow - Great customer service, kindness and super helpful! Thank you!!!

Not long lasting, but it works
it worked well, definitely filtered our water. We had a hard time with our skin when we moved, but this helped a lot. I will say it didnโt last a super long time probably a month or two but itโs great price for it.

Mixed feelings
Good product with badly "constructed" component. I love the filter quality and ease of installing. However, the water seal is VERY VERY VERY DIFFICULT ACHIEVE. I purchased this in May and one-or-more of the following happened over the past 2 months: 1) water began to increasingly leak at the faucet's connection point; 2) filter fell off the faucet when water began to leak a lot; 3) had to repeatedly remove the plastic coupling and add layers of latex tape to stop the leak and try to create another seal; 4) many times the water still came through, and I had to repeat #1-3 again and again--sometimes several times daily. This went on for about 6 weeks. I am keeping my fingers crossed because the last "seal" has lasted almost 2 weeks. This company was accommodating in that they sent some replacement parts--I expect that the threading from the PLASTIC component will wear off in time. I wish I could buy this connector in metal--the little detail that could cure this headache.

Great price. Works like a charm.
I was tired of lugging water jugs from the supermarket to the house and paying a $1.00 a gallon so I decided to try one of these. I chose the Waterdrop over others for the following reasons: 1. Uses activated carbon made from coconuts. This type is more porous so it has more surface area to remove contaminants and allows for better water flow. Primarily for chlorine. 2. Filters last for 3 months or approximately 320 gallons. 3. Micron filter for biologics, sand, iron, sulfur, etc. 4. Price Took about 15 minutes to install. Tips: Make sure you choose the right adaptor and washer. The washer should be tight against the sides of the adaptor and seat it fully in the bottom of the adaptor. Use the provided Teflon tape. 3 wraps counter clockwise should suffice. Threads are fine and can be stripped if cross threaded. This will cause a leak and is not correctable. Hand tighten the adaptor. Use the provided tool to for an extra 1/8 to 1/4 turn. The rest is simple. Taste: Drank a glass of water unfiltered, filtered, and store bought. Filtered tasted great. No chlorine smell and fresh tasting. Actually better than store bought. TDS is a poor measure for drinking water. Good tasting water needs to be free of chlorine, iron, sulfur, lead, and biologics ( bacteria). If water doesn't have some salts, minerals, etc. in it the taste is bad. For example, distilled water has a TDS of 0. Not only does distilled water taste flat, it is also not recommended for normal consumption.

Durability is missing.
This item works very well for its intended purpose. The water has a clean taste, much as you get with bottled water. I have been happy with the product on that category. However. There have two issues. First the washer would not seal completely and the faucets would drip. I reached out to Waterdrop cs and they quickly sent a replacement that resolved the problem. Now the piece that attaches to the faucet (where the washer sits) has ripped. I say ripped because the part is plastic. This item would be great if it were made if metal. It is the section where the filter connects to the faucet piece. Guess what, yep, drip drip drip. I have yet to contact cs. But I will and will update my review. I have only for five months! 5 MONTHS, that is not a good track record. I purchased extra filters having "assumed" this product was good for years to come. So far not the case. I would say look no further but can't. At this time, I recommend passing this particular product up.

Love it!!
TASTE QUALITY-I Love having fresh water! This is my first actual faucet filter I've purchased and I'm absolutely thrilled to have it in my home! THERE IS NO TASTE OR SMELL TO MY WATER and actually I prefer this water to bottle water. Unfortunately I don't have anyway of measuring the filtration quality so I'm waiting to see if someone else will do it and post results. WATER FLOW/PRESSURE- I've had plenty of Brita pitchers and I was expecting the slow filter/dripping. You'll have none of that with this bad boy. You get a full stream of water on both sides (filtered or non-filtered). And its super easy to turn the filter on and off. So cooking with filtered water is just as easy as cooking without it which is great! INSTALLATION - I absolutely appreciated all the extra parts provided to ensure it'll fit your faucet. I had difficulty getting the mounting nut flushed with my faucet so the Teflon tape provided came in handy. I believe not getting the nut flushed was more my issue and not the design. I did use a wrench to take off the aerator, other than that everything I needed was provided within the box. The installation directions were easy to follow. Just don't forget TO TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC COVERING ON THE ACTUAL FILTER. APPEARANCE- For the price, so far I'm super pleased with the product. It doesn't feel like cheap plastic and it looks super nice. I won't know the durability at this point so I rated high and will change it if something happens to the product within the next month. REMINDERS - They also provide 3 different options of being reminded to change out the filter. I don't know why anyone would rate this filter on the low end. I did look at several other filters before choosing this one.

Good product for the money.
This is a good product but people tend to misunderstand certain aspects. It is quite easy to over tighten the product and at that point it will come lose. I believe it was designed this way to protect the threads from being ruined forever. In the way it is designed, if you do tighten it to much and the filter parts comes loose, then apply more of the threading tape that comes with the unit. There is small amount of tape that should be applied tightly to one side of the threads before screwing tight. If it slips off because it is too tight, then add several more layers of that tape until it holds firmly without coming loose. The filter side comes off and on very easily with a twist. I am not sure if it was designed to do this but when something hits against the filter from the sink, I just twist it off until I'm done, then twist it back on. You twist it backwards from the way it was installed. Be careful that you do not put the sink on full strength if you have very good water pressure. You can balance the water strength of the flow to match how fast the filter works. The filter can be installed on the left of the right and with the logo forward or backwards, by how you install it. How and where it ends up with the first install does not mean that is the only way. If how it is placed or looks doesn't suit your hopes, just back up the installation steps and redo in a way that allows you to do what you want. Do not expect to always use every item in the kits. For me, I had a great deal of items left over that my particular installation did not require. Don't make all the pieces make you think it is harder than it is. I put off my installation for a couple day because when I first looked I was not sure how all the items fit together and the instructions were unclear about them. It turns out, I never had to use those item. I think if you have a problem with your logical common sense installation then there may very well be something to fix in the box. If your common sense installation can't make sense of some part, it may not be needed. See if your installation goes well before you worry about those pieces. This is not the type of product that if you have a part left over, it means you missed something. If you do need more of the tape for the threads it can be easily bought at any hardware type location or department.

Good for the price
It does filter the water as advertised, but it doesnโt provide the same results as a traditional salt-based water softener. I didn't see much of a difference with my skin after using this.

Disappointing
Something happens to water pressure and it goes drastically low. So annoying and it get either extremely cold or hot. Very disappointing as we couldnt even see any difference yet as it has only been a month and a half!
