For a beginner its a good book to get you into fingerpicking ,its ideal for learning new techniques.I would recommend it .Make sure it comes with the CD for you to understand the timing and rhythms of the patterns.

There is no c.d. with the book. As the c.d.is constantly referred to would you kindly forward one.

In description it says comes with cd but no cd so i have to return it

I love pattern-based exercises. They're my favorite part of the Noad solo guitar book. This book is pretty much nothing but fingerpicking patterns, and it's awesome.If you also want the CD, note that there's another listing that includes both, for significantly less than buying them separately. It was about $7 at the time I purchased it, which I'm calling an idiot tax since I didn't look before ordering.One minor beef (so minor I can't dock a star) is that the pages are a bit larger than 8.5x11. I like to photocopy pages of the specific stuff I'm practicing at the time, and that makes it a little inconvenient to do so. But the book is nice and thin, so really I can just put it in my case without a major issue.

Vraiment très utile et très progressif pour apprendre ou rafraîchir sa technique de jeu aux doigts.La suite d'accords est pratiquement toujours la même (G/C/D/G), seule la technique change, ce qui permet vraiment de ce concentrer dessus.Après, il est très facile de l'adapter à d'autres suite d'accords, une fois celle ci assimilée.

Questo libro colma un vuoto, ovvero è un compendio di tutte o quasi le possibilità di arpeggio "moderno" per chitarra acustica, applicabili in contesto folk, pop, leggero, rock e non solo. Potrebbe diventare per la chitarra fingestyle quello che sono i 120 arpeggi di Giuliani per la chitarra classica. Infatti gli esempi (più di 200, tutti validi) sono sempre strutturati su 4 battute con una semplice progressione di accordi che è G C D G.La scelta di questi accordi (tutti nelle forme semplici in prima posizione) è quantomai azzeccata, poiché soddisfano le tre tipologie di forme con la fondamentale sulla sesta, quinta e quarta corda, consentendo quindi di fare pratica con un ampia casistica.Veramente ottimo.
