Nice material
I've never worked with this stuff before, but I like it already. I'm making a series of devices with reflective interiors for my physics light projects; I'm familiar with basketmaking in general, and have always had an interest basketry from the anthropological perspective, and once I hit on the idea that I can use the same basic technology for my model/mobiles as 1 mode of engineering them, the material choices were pretty obvious. Pretty much the same stuff I see baskets made from all the time, and looks, feels to 'spec' to the same as any. Solid, easy to work with, and certainly worth the nominal costs, especially for what I'm actually doing with it.

Good crafting product.
Worked well for woven wood stars - holiday decorations. Occasionally joint opened when soaked and bent, but was repaired with wood glue and clip.

Nice to work with.
Have reordered already. Thanks to the reviewer who said she made her Swedish stars with this reed. Was looking for the perfect material and this is it.

Perfect for renovating an early 1900's doll carriage
I used the flat reed to trim around the bottom of the wicker seat surround. The thickness was perfect for the old tacking nails I used to secure it (as original). I intend to use the remaining roll to teach my 11 year old daughter how to weave the reed. The quality was good and the price excellent.

Beautiful product
1st time buyer, did not know it was spliced, I am a novice, making tight circles, finger joints undid, think I played with it too much. Quality is excellent, wouldn't hesitate to order again, if the need arises.

The best veneer for basket weaving, no glue, so clean, so flush, texture looks natural

Youre suppossed to soak it before weaving but some of the strands just start to mush apart when they are soaked. I replaced those and then others started falling apart. Very frustrating. This definitely wouldnt last long as a basket anyways.

I ordered this reed last year for a project and it was perfect. It went out of stock and now ordering it again it isn’t the same. I’ve had it break so many times. I’ve already started using it, so a return isn’t an option.
