I bought these for an lovely clear glass overhead light near my dressing table. The bulbs are bright all around, but the area underneath the lamp is in shadow. Not suitable for applying makeup OR other locations where good light is necessary. Too bad. My light fixture looks "not so nice" with a plain old bulb, but I can see what I am doing. (Tried 'vintage' type bulbs by other manufacturers and the same thing happened.)

i got these for my wife for her reading nook we wanted LEDs because we read cfls are bad for your eyes and its nearly impossible to find classic lightbulbs now, these are very dim as a matter of fact 40 watt classic bulbs were brighter i used one from our garage door opener to test it in her lamp,and the color i would say is alot more orange then 4000k i would say these are closer to 2000k color defiantly warm bulbs,that said they are nice bulbs if you want a warm 40 watt equivalent.

I bought these bulbs for new outdoor entry lights. They look great, work well, but the 1200 lumen brightness rating seems a bit exaggerated to my eyes. I first used 800 lumen bulbs in these fixtures, and these new ones are only slightly brighter, not 50% brighter. Overall, I am happy enough with them though - I'm not going to obsess over light bulbs lol!

I guess I should have guessed when they were advertised as "Edison" bulbs, but they are somewhat longer than standard light bulbs meaning that they will not fit in some fixtures. They have a soft hue for LED bulbs, much warmer than others. Amazingly enough, I dropped one and it still worked even though the LED array bent a little. That says something for quality.

Style is great, just like all the other vintage looking bulbs. The warmth is definitely not 4k. These are 5k cool tone lights, which is exactly what we were hoping to avoid with a 4k bulb. 2700 is too warm, a true 4k would have been perfect. If you actually watch the warmth of your lighting and buy according to those parameters, look somewhere else for a neutral tone.

Look great and do a good job dimming all the way down to a barely visible glow with no noise or flicker. One of my 2 bulbs was broken when I got it, but Amazon sent me a replacement immediately.

I bought these bulbs because have a small bathroomm with only 1 light bulb and when the light bulb burned out in there I replaed with a 60 watt LED but it was so dim. This light bulb is very BRIGHT.

Well, that lasted about a month. Popped and done! Sigh!!! Will be looking for another brand. So sad because they look cute but quality is lacking.
