Utter rubbish... only wish I had read others users reviews first (cant give 0 stars)
I got these so as to fix a guitar gig bag whose pot metal zipper heads stopped working. I was pretty hopeful these would work but I whish I had read the reviews first.Every time I tried to fit this on the zip and get it clamped, as soon as I tried to move the zipper in any direction it just unclips and falls off every time. If the clamping clip was as tight once its in place as it is to seperate to fit it I think it may just work with extreme care but couldnt see it lasting foe more than a few operations, if any as I think it would still come off way to easily. If it is still being held very firmly together with your fingers when fitting it, I found that I could carefully move the zipper to close the teeth but any movement to try and open the zipper even though it's still being clamped by my fingers, it immediately unclips and comes off the zip.... every time. There is no way this would close or open the zip on its own as the locking clip doesnt hold the two parts anywhere near tight enough. even though it had initially clicked indicating it had locked together.Utter waste of money

These do work
What you get are six little plastic replacement zip ends – one small, two medium and two large. The casing is plastic, but it’s fairly sturdy plastic. The zip-pull is thin metal. The zip-pull snaps on to the case, it is theoretically possible for you to remove the generic zip-pull and re-attach your own. I haven’t needed to do this because the whole zip-pull assembly was lost. These replacement zip-end pull apart and you snap them over the teeth of your broken zip. They are quite difficult to get to come apart. There is a latch on the back. I did struggle with this. The biggest one snapped open with a judicious twist of a broad, non-Philips screwdriver. The middle-size one, I had to keep pressing the clicky tab on the back until eventually I lifted it up to get the thing to open. This is a bit of an annoying fiddle. But, that said, they do clip together and stay clipped together. They can’t be too loose, otherwise they'd fall off. They do open, you just need to persist with them. Also, you need to select the right size for your zip. Too big and the teeth won’t come together. So if it isn’t working, try the next size down.Snap it onto one side of the zip at the base and thread the other side into it. This won't fix is dodgy zip teeth, of course, but it did enable me to get a favourite cardigan working again. Worth a try for under a quid.

Waste of money
Do not waste your money. The pieces are plastic and are not strong enough for the job they are intended for. They just do not work.In the picture they look like metal.Do not be fooledYou have to give a star, but there should be a NO star option.

AS I HAVE ALREADY REVIEWED THIS ITEM. I WILL WRITE THE SAME COMMENTS. UTTERLY USELESS!! DID NOT MEET MY REQUIREMENTS FOR WHICH I WANTED THEM FOR. NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THEM ON THE ITEM YOU WANTED TO MEND. I HAD TO GO AND PURCHASE A NEW ITEM TO USE IN THE FUTURE.

Waste of money.
It doesn't work. If you hold it closed then you can get it to close the zip but any pressure at all and this will pop off and the zip open.

No good.
Rubbish I’m afraid. Don’t stay together when clipped around the zip.
