It is made of a silky tricot, but not the ordinary thin tricot that you find in many nightgowns. This garment is made of a dense, luxurious tricot that is almost like silk. It is soft, silky, comfortable and so, SO beautiful!I have ordered a whole slew of nightgowns from Amazon in the last few weeks and have ended up sending several of them back because of quality issues. But this gown is first rate!
