They are not raw (green), which is what you need to buy to prepare boiled peanuts. **Q: My squirrels wpnt eat the raw ones.they willnonly eat the roasted ones.why is that?** A: These are roasted and squirrels and birds love them. As far as the raw ones, I don't know.
