Used Mine for Torching Items, Worked Great!
I got this specifically to hold items that I needed to put a torch on, but needed maneuverability to get at it from different angles, and it worked fantastically! The clamp itself was nice and tight without being overly difficult to open, and it held the items very securely, which is always a concern when you're working with red hot components. But it more than did the trick, and I was even able to hold the clamp the whole time without needing gloves, so the heat transfer was very minimal. Pretty impressed with the whole thing and would use again for certain. Especially for my specific need for the item. Would recommend!

A poor ground will cause all kinds of problems that can ...
Seriously, is a ground clamp REALLY that important? Yep, it is. If you've bought a budget 120v buzz box mig welder, replace the likely junk factory ground clamp with this one before you even run the first bead. While having a solid ground is important for all arc welding processes, it's an entire order of magnitude more important for mig welding, and more important still for people new to mig welding. Ever had your settings set right according to the chart, but your wire is stubbing in the puddle and pushing the gun away? The machine doesn't know or care when the ground isn't there and the arc isn't established, it just keeps pushing wire. A poor ground will cause all kinds of problems that can mimic issues with wire feed, voltage, technique, and prep that just aren't there. A poor ground can make you chase settings all over the place and want to pull your hair out when none of those changes help at all. I guarantee that several perfectly good welders have been sold as junk because they ran badly, when all they needed was a better ground clamp. Admittedly, this is essentially the same ground clamp that's available at Harbor Freight. Diamond in the rough, those are actually good clamps, WAY better than what most welders come with. Click click delivered for a buck more than HF is charging, I can't fire up my truck and move it out of the neighborhood for a buck. I love Amazon. One last tip. Trim the insulation off a couple feet of welding cable, so you have bare copper. Double it over and twist it loosely, then clamp that twist of bare welding cable between your ground clamp and work piece. This creates hundreds or thousands of individual ground paths, and does a much better job than just a ground clamp alone. This can help make a mediocre ground clamp usable to finish a project, make a good ground clamp work better in less than optimum situations(you still need to clean down to bright shiny metal!), or even help isolate issues with an existing ground clamp. If you're clamping on bright shiny metal and adding the twist of wire helps, you have issues with your ground clamp.

Great clamp!
I bought this clamp to replace the cheaper clamp on my small harbor freight 240v flux core welder. It’s a little over kill for my welder for sure, almost too big but I will say it makes a difference. The connection is much better and the clamp attaches to work surfaces better. Great clamp for the money but just know it is definitely on the larger side.

Nice heavy duty all brass clamp
I replaced a stamped steel with copper teeth ground clamp on my stick welder with this. The clamp force on this is strong and the connection is easy enough to setup. I just wish it had a bolt to use an existing terminal lug so I didn't have to cut my cable. Also the metal loop to hold the cable is cheesy, I used a hose clamp instead, I imagine a zip tie would work even better so you don't risk cutting yourself on the hose clamps strap. It's a great ground clamp!

Heavy-Duty Clamp
This is a very heavy-duty ground clamp, much better quality than normally ships with most welding units. The grounding cable fastens very securely to this clamp. Because this clamp is solid brass, it won't deal well with high heat locations, and could be damaged or melt if placed too close to the arc.

Hasn't melted so far
Stock ground clamp melted. This o e works good, holds well and hasn't melted yet.

Excellent Quality and Ground!
It's well made and the bolt that tightens down on the cable makes for a quick change and attachment. It had a strong spring to help give a good ground. My Forney MP 140 works better now. My welder ground cable was smaller than the maximum the clamp to handle but it still hooked up quick and tight. I will be getting another one just like this one for my other welder. Excellent price. Solid brass.

Upgrade to factory clamp
This is an excellent upgrade for my mig Welder ground clamp. It conducts better than the factory one and and has good clamping force, but is not too hard to open.

Smaller welders, even the better quality ones, usually need an upgraded ground clamp. This clamp is solid brass, better than the grounds with just a strip of copper wiring between the jaws.It delivers good grounding and its very durable. The spring is strong, high pressure.I put one on my Hobart stickmate LX, a good machine but stock clamp was junk. This is the style you want for an upgrade, you`ll find these on bigger and better machines.
