It's not all stainless steel
I bought this item thinking it was all stainless steel but l believe the main part is stainless steel and the rest is zinc plated.I think it's a good deal for the money.

Looks good, but…
Used this on a deck locker in my saltwater boat. Unfortunately the inside retaining ring and the inside latch hook are not stainless requiring extra maintenance.

El problema de este producto es que trae piezas de hierro y tornillos en hierro que se oxidan inmediatamente ( deberían colocar todas la piezas en acero y si hay que pagar un poco más se pagará con gusto )

Typical marine grade latch that works well.
For some unknown reason these type of marine latches are far more expensive than they should be. Most of them have a plastic component that will break with time. This one is all metal and was the best value that I was able to find.

Works for thicker panels
Good quality, fits 1/12" hole and works for thicker panels, in my case 1/2" thick panel.
