The gel works. Mixing the pellets up it and using an igniting wand does the trick.
I have used this gel for lighting my pellet stove. Just started buying it from Amazon. The gel helps the pellets to be ignited and the stove takes care of the rest if it ignites and burns correctly. Usually does.

Makes starting a pellet stove that does not have an igniter 1000 times easier works very well and very easy to use and it’s a great price for the size of the bottle you get.!

Good gel starter. Little bit works. Dispenser is a little funky but price and effectiveness very good.

Isn’t as easy to ignite my pellets as I thought
This does not work as quickly as I thought it would. I mixed it with pellets and tried twisting a piece of paper and saturating it and placing pellets on it. I have used a lot of it and I don’t feel it works efficiently.

Waste of money. You can do much much better. These flare for a second or two. Done. No fire on the logs at all.
