I like tennyson, I don't love Tennyson
I like tennyson, I don't love Tennyson. But the book is well done, organized. its an active table of contents. Anyone who is into Tennyson, or wants to find out if they are, this is the book for them.

Recomended
If you like to read poetry this collection is essential. I particularly recommend the Lady of Shalot, which has also been set to music. Very pleasant to read poems from a master craftsman.

Beautifully wtitten, and full of moments attaining fathomless wisdom.
Even when these writings have been created within the victorian period, they maintain nowadays its unique freshness and musical rhythm and color

Tennyson is Lord of the Verses
I knew the Charge of the Light Brigade but I now know many more amazing uses of the English language. Especially Ballad of the Fleet and Morte d'Arthur, Ode on the Death of Wellington, and The Miller's Daughter.

Words of beauty
No matter what poem you read you are left smiling. Such poetic beauty and magic in the written word is right here. Admittedly I was spurred to buy this from Judy Dench's brilliant performance in Skyfall where she quotes a section of Ulysses and I'm so glad I did.
