Long Lasting
Wanted for dressing up for World Book Day. Long lasting and thick enough.

Cheap and cheerful.
Not the best lipstick but for the price it is fine. Goes on well and lasts about an hour.

Wonderful colour but underwhelming quality.
The media could not be loaded. I've been on the hunt for a true brick-coloured lipstick for what feels like ages, and it is proving to be a challenging process. Many shades marketed as 'brick' end up being either too bright, too dark, too red, or leaning towards burgundy, which just isn't what I'm looking for. I've ordered plenty of these shades online based on photos, only to be let down when the actual product looked completely different. So, when I stumbled upon this Saffron lipstick in Colour 03 Brick, I felt a glimmer of hope that this might finally be the one. With cautious optimism, I decided to give it a go.On first impressions, the colour wasn't exactly what I had envisioned. It is a little more red than I had hoped, but I have to give credit where it is due. The colour does look exactly like the one in the product photos. For anyone specifically after Colour 03 Brick, you can rest assured that what you see is indeed what you get. I do appreciate that kind of accuracy since it is often hard to find.Unfortunately, the quality of this product does not measure up to the expectations set by even a budget lipstick. The packaging is very basic and, frankly, feels quite cheap. The silver plastic lipstick tube is covered in tiny scratches and chips, and the logo seems to have been stamped on carelessly. The transparent lid is a nice feature for quickly identifying the shade without having to open it, but it feels a little loose. It does close, and it has not fallen off in my makeup bag, but I do wish it clicked into place so I could be certain. The original product photos did a fairly honest job of showcasing the mediocre quality of the packaging, so I cannot say I was not warned about this.Something else I noticed was that there was no seal on the lipstick. I have read other reviews that mention this too, and I find myself wondering if this is standard or if mine had somehow been opened previously. While the lipstick did not look entirely used, the top of it was not as crisp and shiny as you would expect from a brand-new product. The sides still had that new, glossy look, but the top appeared duller, which left me uncertain. It is a small but important detail that makes a big difference in how much trust you place in a product. As for the lipstick itself, it is okay but certainly has its downsides. The scent is quite strong; there is a noticeable chemical smell, which is also present in the taste. It is not the worst I have come across, but it is enough to make me wonder about the ingredients. The texture is also a bit of a let-down; it is greasy even for a lipstick and goes on sheer at first, which surprised me. You can build up the colour with additional layers, but it takes a bit of effort to achieve the look you want. Once applied, it lasted about an hour before starting to fade, which is below average in terms of staying power. That said, I do think it is important to weigh these issues against the price. At £2.25, it is hard to complain too much, especially when you consider the extensive colour range available, with 30 shades spanning vivid reds, fantasy pinks, and chocolate browns. The delivery was also fast, and the overall service was efficient. If you are just looking for a cheap and cheerful lipstick with some interesting shades, this might still work for you. However, given the inconsistency in quality, the packaging issues, and the hygiene concerns due to the lack of a seal, I do not think I will be ordering this brand of lipstick again. While the value is there and the shade range is appealing, the overall experience makes it difficult for me to fully recommend it. It is decent for a one-off night, but not something I would add to my regular makeup rotation. Unless there is a specific shade I absolutely cannot find anywhere else, I will most likely look elsewhere next time.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope that you found it helpful and that it assists you in your decision-making. I try to be as honest and fair as possible, as those have always been the reviews that helped me the most.

Quality not consistent.
I got a bad batch on offer that are way over-fragranced over-pigmented and the colour is completely off. They also taste weird. Something went wrong during manufacturing these. Recent order was not near the quality I usually receive. ??? If I had only ordered one I could have overlooked it, but I ordered three.
