Seems to actually be stainless steel (unlike a different ice scoop I purchased previously). Washed well and still shiny. This is the perfect size scoop to fill a 12oz or 16oz cup with ice.

Perfect size and quality to leave in freezer for bagged ice. Sturdy enough to handle being used to break free ice cubs with a sturdy rap.

I love this well made scooper, so beautiful and easy to use. Great value for the money.

Don’t usually rate so soon after purchase but this seems to be a great scoop. Actually purchased two of them. I am using this one for an ice scoop. Cannot complain. Cannot comment on dishwasher safety bc this is something I would wash by hand. The color and capacity of scoop are great. Seems to be a quality piece. Fits perfectly in my ice tray. Not able to comment on heat transfer as this is used as an ice scoop. Thank you for a five star purchase!

Well made. Bought it for our in freezer ice tub. Good size for the reason it was purchased. The scoop is well made and does its job. I had a plastic scoop previously... but it ended up cracked. This one is perfect with the exception of reaching in and grasping an icy cold handle. Lol! Small price to pay. Highly recommend!

Works beautifully. Goes through the dishwasher without changes. I did put it on the top rack for convenience.

This is a well designed product. Its front edge is not so sharp to injure one's fingers but sharp enough to pry ice cubes that are stuck together. It is heavy enough. Large enough but not so large that it is hard to fit in the ice tray. The handle is long enough for a good grab but not too long to make it hard to enter the tray at an angle. So many little considerations go into such a simple task. It seems whomever designed it did a great job!
