Jonathan Green (12384) Wildflower & Meadow Grass Mix (1 lb)

Yes it is primarily annual grass, but having tried several perennial and annual options and having wasted a ridiculous amount of money doing so to get anything at all to grow in my dry, porous lawn that faced years of grub and chemical damage before I took it over. It is easy to spread, grows super fast, stays green. Last year I over seeded in the fall with perennial grass and filled and put down some fresh soil and this year filled in the bare spots with this. I will have to do the same thing in the fall but at least it is not an embarrassing mess, especially compared to the people accross the street who manicure part of their lawn with scissors.

Purchased two bags of this and planted them in April and May this year in Boston, MA. Sadly nothing sprouted except grass. No wildflowers at all, and the grass which sprouted is very limited. I tilled the soil prior to sowing the seeds, planted, and then watered in both attempts to no avail. Really disappointed in this product.

Good quality seeds with good germination and beautiful flowers. I have ordered another bag for more planting this fall

we are still waiting to see what comes up. Maybe it got all eaten by birds. but no single flower visible, thus far

With some soil conditioning and regular watering, I did get a decent wildflower patch going. My soils quite acidic and clay, but as long as you loosen the soil, rake in the seeds, and water consistently to they germinate, you'll have a nice patch. There's several different flower types in here, but certainly you won't get the full effect the first year. These photos are from seeds planted 4 months ago. With some of the flowers in this, specifically Cosmo's, you'll need probably 3 full years to get the full wildflower effect. But I am happy with the results. Also attracts lots of pollinators and birds.

Ordered 2 of these. Will use them, however they are very old. The last "germination" sticker on each is 2018. With at least 2 stickers below that. Meaning these are from 2015. Stickers are updated every year as the germination rate drops with age. fingers crossed.

These wildflowers are AMAZING. I've tried other brands and nothing so far has come close to the quality of these flowers.

Came a couple days before expected arrival date. Haven't planted them or anything because they are for wedding favors but good size bag. Everything seems to be what I needed.
