Great print and paper.
The print is clear and big enough, which makes it easy to read. Needless to say it’s a wonderful piece of music!

Beautiful and Beastly!
This is a summer project and I am excited about the task of learning these. Since I am student of the Galamian method, it was a no brainer when choosing this edition. This will definitely keep my brain from atrophying.

An item on all violinists's must-play list
The International Music Company has two editions of Paganini's Caprices: One by Carl Flesch(1873-1944) and one, more recent, by Ivan Galamian (1903-1981). Leopold Auer, Carl Flesh, and Ivan Galamian, three exceedingly famous violin teachers, all assigned "The Caprices" to their advanced students and to this day, Niccolo Paganini and his 24 etudes stand to represent the apex of violin technique. There have been innovative uses of the violinistic devices and special effects employed by the virtuoso since, but his improvisational performances, often transcribed and compiled by admirers, definitively established the canon of modern violin technique. "24 Caprices" is the only representation of his work that Paganini allowed for publication in his lifetime. While Paganini revealed that patience was the key to conquering violin playing, he had none for teaching or otherwise divulging his performance secrets. As for this edition of the work, like Paganini, Mr. Galamian had huge hands and fingerings to match. This should not deter the serious student from choosing Galamian's edition in this case, for it is both highly musical and playable: My favorite mix.
