I can confirm that this edition no longer includes a CD. Instead, there is a code to download music from the Hal Leonard web site. Both mp3 and MIDI formats are available. Very helpful for practice - I'd strongly recommend buying this over the version without the audio. It really does help if you know what the piece is supposed to sound like before you play it. The modules in this book cover the following: Unit 1: C Major & A Major, G Major & E minor patterns, 7ths Unit 2: C Major and A Major scales. 3/6 and 8/8 time signatures. Unit 3: C Major & A Major triads Unit 4: G Major & E minor scales, triplets Unit 5: G Major & E minor triads Although aimed at children, this book is suitable for all ages. The lessons progress at a pace that pushes the pupil a little more each time, but it never feels too overwhelming. Review: A Must - These books are brilliant, but I do not need to tell pianist that. I would recommend them to any age and I am over 60, well over!
