Valken Paintball Impact Padded Shirt/Chest Protector - 4Xl/5XL

I got this for my husband hes a 2x I ordered a 4-5x in this fits him great sizes run small it seems. he loves it and is going to wear it for cqb airsoft.

Bought for light ice hockey chest protection

Bought a 4xl after seeing other reviews. I'm 6'1 and 295 lbs. The 4xl is a bit roomy as I like things to be flexible yet slightly snug. Considering buying a 2xl because the material is lightweight, the padding is very sufficient. Just a bit on the loose side. I'll just keep the 4xl so I can wear layers underneath when it's cold.

I'm a very big guy, but I have no idea how the 4xl/5xl I received could be labeled as such. I had someone who wears 2x or 3x shirts (depending on the fabric and sizing) try it on, and it didn't even fit him without him having to shimmy and tug himself into it. Short of me getting a mislabeled size that was actually a L/XL, I have to assume that this is a sizing error and that the manufacturer doesn't know what a 4xl size would really be.

The padding had good coverage around the chest and back. It would be great except for the body and arm sizing is off. I ordered a 4/5XL and found the chest fit more like a XXL or barely 3XL (compression fit) and the arms were too large/loose and made the entire protector feel awkward. If the arms were tighter I would have kept it. I ended up returning this as it didn't fit my needs.
