Awesome, cheap, and installed in 5 minutes
What a difference 60$ makes. I've put aftermarket air filters on my vehicles before (K&N), but they've never made such a night and day difference in sound as this one does. Construction is solid, no rips or tears, and installation is super easy, even if you have little/no experience with mods. I installed it over my lunch break in roughly 5 minutes. Once installed, you'll actually hear and feel the turbo spool, and you'll hear the stock bypass valve recirculating air when you let off the throttle, both of which always put a smile on my face. The car feels like it breaths better and the turbo spools faster, but as someone who speculates just how much an aftermarket air filter contributes to additional HP and TQ (looking at you K&N with your ridiculous claims of 30hp gains), I unfortunately don't have dyno numbers to prove the difference. TLDR: Love cool turbo whoosh noises? Buy it. You won't regret it.

It's green
I bought it for my Grandsons car. It gave the car a different sound and noticeable power increase. Worth the money!!

All you need for your Focus ST!
The Focus ST doesn't need much upgrading as far as the intake goes. The tubing flows just fine from the factory and fits better than nearly any other aftermarket intake tube. The only thing to really upgrade is a new drop in filter such as this Green filter. The Green filter is a direct swap for the stock paper filter and helps your car breathe a little easier when you start tuning. The stock filter is a paper media, closed end filter. The Green filter is a two layer cotton filter with an open cone end. The stock airbox has a hole where the end of the filter sits, so the Green filter opens up that entire area to pull in air aside from just flowing better in the first place. This also has the side effect of making your turbo whistle and BPV much louder in stock form, an enjoyable plus! The only other thing that could really help improve the intake is an aftermarket snorkel to add more fresh ram air from the front. Adding this filter opens the end up which means more warm engine air can get in, but others as well as myself have done testing and proved temperatures between the stock filter, the Green filter, and the Green filter with no airbox lid are mostly negligible. I feel like the snorkel would be about the only thing that would help lower that, but with a good intercooler it's not much concern.

Excellent air filter for my 2017 Focus RS. Literally destroys K&N's product and it's cheaper :-)
First I purchased the K&N air filter. The unit didn't even fit in the filter housing, so I had to return it - not sure what was going on there but I spent 30 extremely frustrating minutes trying to get the stupid thing to fit.Opening the box of the Green air filter, I immediately noticed a level of quality that far surpassed the K&N filter. The design is perfect, the rubber flange mates perfectly with the intake duct and installation was a breeze at under 2 minutes to install. Love that they include a clamp with the filter too! Engine feels smoother at higher RPM's, and looks and sounds great! Happy I sent the K&N filter back, and probably won't purchase K&N product ever again tbh. There's a big difference in the quality for sure! Go GREEN!

Best filter ever!
This is for the fit on a Ford Focus as it fits PERFECT to the airbox yet adding that cool air effect with a open end design. You have to see if it will do the same for your Ford design air box!!!I do know, If you have a 2015 Ford Focus & simular air box ( as that design went a long want on many fords) this is a must... if you like to hear the amazing sound of that engine ( mine is a 2.0 & it works on turbo) and not go broke on a cold air intake, this is a must!It does the same thing at a third of the price of a air charger! I love it! It is very well built, I was shocked at how it is better than any other top name I have used in the past! I will be ordering more of Green Fikters to replace the air chargers on my other rides! I didn't know they could be made this well.Skip the nightmare of a whole air charging instal!!! This saves loads of money and time! I love it! ( also delete the snorkel.. find how online)

Easy first mod for anyone that adds great value to the car!
Its a great product that made a difference to sound and fuel economy in my 17' ST. I noticed about a 2 mpg increase after the car relearned the new air flow rates. Also there is a lot more induction noise and it makes the sound symposer not function until higher up in the rev range. my only complaint is that i couldn't use the provided hose clamp with the factory airbox, however the filter fits snug enough that it stays without clamp.

Really like it!
Just to be up front I’m NOT a ‘car guy’. With that being said I wanted to be able to hear my turbo spool up and blow off!! Cold air intake wasn’t in the budget. So after reading some reviews I gave this a try. It’s SUPER EASY TO INSTALL. Literally just take the old one out and put this in. Done!!Made a HUGE difference in sound! I can hear the turbo MUCH better!!I haven’t really noticed any difference in fuel eco or power. But it’s hard to really tell unless you can realistically measure it.Anyway for the price next time it’s due for an oiling I’ll probably just buy another one to replace it. Comes pre-oiled from the box. No issues with the air flow sensor btw.I definitely recommend!!

ALRIGHT, READ THIS (GREAT BTW)
Okay so my green filter arrived today, a day later then it was supposed to but I'll let them slide. So first off installation was an absolute breeze, it literally took me 2 mins to pull the old one out and out this one on and tighten the clamp. There's a lot of controversy about whether you can leave the air box lid on or off and let me give you an answer to that because I couldn't find a straight answer. If you drive without your air box lid the engine and turbo will sound SLIGHTLY better than if you put the lid back on. If you drive with the lid off then there's a chance you'll pull hot air from the engine and you don't want that. The difference in noise is minuscule so my advice is to put the lid back on and enjoy the new air filter. It definitely opens up the intake more and you hear nice deep sounds. All in all it's a great air filter and I highly recommend.
