The only issue is the hook piece screws into the magnet but doesn't tighten up. It freely rotates within the base. This can make removing and placing items awkward as the hook rotates. (A spot of metal epoxy would probably fix this.) It's an annoyance factor but doesn't stop them from doing their job.They are also not designed to be decorative or attractive. They have an industrial look.Otherwise strong enough to hold items up to maybe 1/2 pounds on the side of my refrigerator without slipping. One pound and the hook slips slowly in some locations, barely holds if you place the weight on carefully in others. Maximum strength ratings are for hooks hanging straight down when magnet is placed under a thick horizontal iron plate, so the strength on the vertical sheet metal of an appliance is much less. The actual strength probably depends on many factors including coatings of the sheet metal like paint or texture.But for lighter items of say about 8 ounces they hold amazingly well. It's very convenient to be able to move them freely to get maximum storage space.To remove a magnet tilt it away from the surface or the other magnet. It is quite difficult to separate two of them stuck face to face. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a fan of holes in the wall *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2019* These hooks are a game changer for me. I can hang my keys right on the side of my fridge as soon as I walk in the door. I'm not setting them down wherever and losing them. They are a bit smaller than I imagined, but it doesn't change the functionality. And now every metal surface can potentially have a hook! No holes in the wall. No installation. So simple. I'm seriously thinking about buying some more sets and giving a couple to everyone I know. People should know about these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can hang about 5 lbs vertically *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2017* I don't doubt the 25 lb pull away from the magnet and the steel surface (perpendicular?), but when attached to a vertical surface I can only hang something from the hook that is 5 lbs or less without it sliding down... which is to be expected.
