Very good book very helpfull

A good build book on the Tamiya 1/48 scale Tomcat. A shame the publisher couldnt put a bit of colour in the book, especially for the later stages of the build and painting.

No colour pictures, a simple guide God for beginners

It's a great addition to the Tamiya kit will help the inexperienced/returning (like me) modeller achieve top-class results.

The description is accurate. Spot on to be exact. Nothing more than what's there.Having bought a similar book on how to build Airfix 1:24 scale Hawker Typhoon I expected there to be reference pictures (in colour) and a describing text on the challenges and how to solve them etc. Instead I get the building instructions broken down to a beginners level. I expect this can be useful to some but I had expected more.

Ich bin ja normal eher ein positiver Mensch, aber diese aneinander geklebten Papierseiten sind nur eins, ein Problem für die Umwelt. Glenn Hoover macht nichts anderes als die Seiten der Bauanleitung zu kopieren (darf man das überhaupt wenn man es dann "verkauft"?) und um ein paar eigene Bilder und 1 Satz Kommentare zu ergänzen. Dieses ganze "Werk" ist kein How to build sondern ein Versuch der Kindergartengruppe Blätter zu kopieren und zu kleben. Selbst ein Stern ist zuviel :-( Amazon hat es gutgeschrieben ich entsorge es in den Papierkreislauf.

Great how-to book. Makes it really easy to understand where to use the photo-etch sets
