Accuracy: It's hard to tell to be honest, because how do you know it's the weights or the Scale that is off? If I had to guess, I would say these weights are insanely accurate, but my scale is just not completely accurate. I would say it's accurate enough though to get a good estimate for a cheap scale. If your doing something that needs pinpoint precision, then you may be cautious though. My scale shows 9 mg for the 10 mg weight, 21 mg for both 20 mg, and 51 mg of the 50 mg weight. I'm not sure if that's the weights or my scale, probably my scale though. Quality: I would say they have pretty good quality. Size: I mean some are big and some are small, a 10 mg weight is going to be tiny, and you will have to be careful not to lose it. The only thing I don't like about this kit are the tweezers...I just don't get why they even bothered adding those lol

Great selection of weights. Cross-checked on two scales, and weight of each piece is on the money. Absolutely necessary if you’re trying to confirm the accuracy of your scale. I use to verify the scale’s accuracy when mixing herbicides for use on my lawn. Adding more that the directions specify, and you’ll kill your lawn (and your spouse might shoot you for doing it). The storage case is sturdy, and the included tweezers allow you to easily grab the small reference weights that go down to 10mg.

Only 4 of the weights were outside the 0.003g tolerance stated. Other than that, for the price, this is a great value.

These weights are fantastic. I can’t believe how affordable they were, but I tested them on two different scales and all of them were completely accurate. 5 Stars all the way!

Perfect. Plus an important life hack.....put a rubber band or strap around the plastic box. If you drop or knock the plastic box onto the floor, you will spend the next 15 mins looking for all the counter weights.

I am not sure what is wrong with the QA department where the make and package this weight kit at but, from some of the reviews, they don't seem to have a QA department. For my needs the precision issues aren't there and the scales that I used to check them were within a fraction of a gram on the ones that I tested which is close enough for my needs. However, right out of the package this kit was missing one of the weights. How can they not see that when they are about to ship it? There is literally a dark hole where a shiny topped metal weight should be sitting. Think of all the wasted resource moving this weight set around and now more because I am having to return this one to have more wasted resources HOPEFULLY to get one that has all the weights in it. It's not as if one of the missing weights was the sub-gram flat sheet weights. It was one of the weight cylinder types. And, of course, there is no "packaged by" with a number on it so they know who made the mistake. Well, made in China I guess. Due to the missing weight I marked it down to a 3 from a 4. Had all the weights been in the kit, 4 out of 5 for my needs. Crossing my fingers that the replacement is complete! <update> Replacement arrived and was complete as expected.

Unless you need something approaching some ISO level, this set of calibration weights should serve you just fine. I took a ding because there is no imprint on the case for the weights too small to stamp like the larger weights. I picked a permanent paint marker and made notations myself, because it's only going to be used infrequently. I used it on a small, battery operated scale for postage and a larger plug in scale for parcel. The larger scale said a couple were 1-2g off one three of the tests, but this scale is for heavier bulky shipping items, so that discrepancy is probably in the scale. These are not expensive scales by any stretch, but these weights confirms what I have already known from use, these inexpensive scales are proven to be accurate for my needs - but it's good to have a set of inexpensive but useful calibrated weights on hand. One last note: those tweezers are clunky and awkward, look at getting a better pair for not much money. But at least there is SOMETHING there right out of the box.

I got the weights to use with a traditional lever balance used for weighing out cooking ingredients. The larger weights work fine but the smaller weights have no purpose for this use since recipes don’t normally require such small quantities . Latter probably only suitable for non kitchen uses such as weighing jewellery and I can’t vouch for their accuracy.
