Slash (2002) is a Denmark movie I recently watched on Shudder after seeing it recommended on here. The storyline focuses on a rock-band that takes a detour from their tour to stop at one of the band members family after his mother dies. They quickly discover an old family curse didn’t disappear as he thought and as his family history starts resurfacing the band members lives quickly become as risk. This movie is directed by Neal Sundstrom (Dead Easy) and stars Steve Railsback (Ed Gein), Nick Boraine (Black Sails), Zuleikha Robinson (Hidalgo) and James O’Shea (The Foresaken). The storyline for this isn’t good but is actually entertaining to watch unfold. The character interactions are very good, and the performance by Railsback is excellent. The kill scenes are inconsistent but good enough to not detract from the film. I loved the closing song and the use of “Ole McDonald” throughout the film. I’d definitely recommend watching this once and would score it a 6/10.

A perfunctory slasher flick based on the obvious. All the basic ingredients are there along with a decided lack of suspense or surprise. Everything is expected, right on cue, although it took forever to get the plot going. The characters spent the bulk of their screen time arguing. Sadly, when all of the characters are obnoxious there is no one to care about, I was happy to see them go. But the worst offense was the overuse of forgettable music. That, and the use of a cornfield. Cornfields have been done to death, next time try asparagus or broccoli.

love this b-rated horror flick! love the ending song! love the whole movie! im so bloody glad to have found it! :)

Overall good story and decent acting. But, it looks like they had no budget when it came to the special effects. Most killings are shown offscreen with no blood. I didn't know you could make a slasher with no blood, but this film is proof of that. Don't waste your time if you're a horror fan/gorehound.

Tout simplement génial ce mix entre une soirée UNPLUGED de 6 titres acoustiques enregistrées en 2012 et ces 9 titres enregistrées LIVE au ROCK AM RING au fameux circuit du NÜRBÜRGRING ( c'est comme cela que s'ecrit le nom de cette ville, contrairement à la faute d'ortographe au dos de la jaquette ) en allemagne en 2010 devant plusieurs centaines de milliers de personnes ( un des plus grand festival de rock au monde ). A posséder absolument pour tous fans de SLASH...

Live show is daytime gig in full sunshine..Sound could have been better...Live in Stoke is hard to beat for a live gig , so to be fair I think its quite good for what it is.

Mi sono stupita di aver trovato SLASH nella scelta di dvd di amazon. Ho cercato in tutti i negozi e on line ma niente. GRAZIE Amazon. Ti dimostri sempre il migliore.Ho votato SLASH con 5 stelle perchè penso che sia un'horror molto bello e allo stesso tempo mantiene uno stile retrò che lo caratterizza. La scelta degli attori poteva essere migliore ma ottimi gli effetti speciali e la colonna sonora.Ottimi anche i tempi di consegna e la versione Francese aggiunge specialità al prodotto.

Malgré tout c'est un bon DVD, étant un fan de Slash et de Myles je me devais de posséder cet article. Il y a quelques erreurs dans le titre de présentation des chansons mais ça n'enleve pas à la qualité d,image. Je le recommande à tous ceux qui aime Slash !
